Superb!
This is a really excellent product. I rarely write reviews but felt I needed to so that I can give others a steer as it can be tricky to use.First, I’ve never used the white stick thing (filling replacement) so I can’t comment on that. I’ve only used the cement. I’ve needed it several times to refit crowns over the years and it works a treat, as long as you do the prep and mix it right. Tips:Follow the instructions! Apparently, there are some YouTube videos which may also help for the first-time user;Clean tooth and crown thoroughly;Take time removing the old cement from the crown. This is really important as the crown won’t fit properly if you don’t and it will fall out sooner. I use a nail file and a dental hook;Practice fitting so that you’re confident when it’s time to fit for real;Use only one drop of water when mixing. It won’t seem like enough but it will be. And I repeat ONE DROP OF WATER! Any more and it will be too runny and won’t work. It should be the consistency of very firm toothpaste;Work quickly. If mixed correctly, it sets fast. Apply to crown and put in quickly. I reckon you have max. 20 seconds;Hold in place for at least three minutes;Wait before you start removing the excess cement which will inevitably have appeared around the crown; And relax! It’s quite stressful refitting a crown, especially when it’s a visible tooth.Follow this and you’ll be fine. I can only assume that the reviewers who have left poor reviews either didn’t use it properly or expected miracles when trying to fix broken teeth. They may also be referring to the filling replacement as I haven’t tried this.In summary, it’s an excellent product, recommended by my dentist but it’s tricky to get the consistency just right. Even if your crowns or veneers are fine, buy it and keep it for emergencies, such as holidays. Unless, of course, you don’t mind walking around with little teeth stumps…

Saved my tooth and money
Used only white stick to fill the expanding hole in my rootless tooth filled with medicine.I went to dentist and he cleaned the canal and filled it with medicine and only made a temporary filling. The filling after only few days started decreasing and the hole was getting bigger by day. I was affraid my tooth or what was left of it would crumble without filling support and I had to perform on stage and mingle with people in other countries so this helped immensely to temporary fix my tooth and not to spend time and lots of money on dentists.Actually I went to second dentist for 2nd opinion and she only charged the short visit not doing anything €60 plus I had to spend money on transport to get there.Pros: temporary fixYou can use white stick for about 4 fillings and more as you can also reuse it if it falls out (just repeat the 30 second in boiling water procedure)Cons: none for the price and if done properly and if not expecting a temporary fix

Didn't work for me
I went for this product due to the many positive reviews. I don't know if I got a faulty batch, but it really didn't work for me.The stick you get looks like a small stick of plastic a bit like the end of an artist's brush. It is rock solid. The idea is you cut a piece off and place it in boiling water until it is soft enough to shape and place into the cavity and it will cool and harden in the hole.I followed the instructions but after cutting it and placing it in freshly boiled water from the kettle, leaving it for 30 seconds and taking it out it was still far too hard to shape. I re-boiled water and placed it in again, and again, and again. After the third time, the substance became soft enough to squash slightly. Trouble is, about 15 seconds or less after removing it from the boiling water it was rock solid again so you really have very little time to put it into place. After 3 or so failed attempts I finally got it stuck in. I tried to add more just to fill in a little bit of a gap but gave up in frustration. I was then very careful not eating any solid food for 24 hours. I decided to eat a sandwich. It shouldn't have come as a surprise to me that the filling was gone at the end of my meal! Very disappointed

In agony after using stick. Cement worked though.
Edited!!!Was reccomended to me by a friend who it has worked for no problem. Had no pain at all prior to using this product. Within seconds of putting the little bit of softened filling stick in place I was in agony and now currently sat trying not to scream in pain while my jaw is absolutely throbbing. Couldn't even wait for it to set and harden, the pain is too much, had to pull straight back out and rush to take ibuprofen tablets. Worst thing ever!!! I'm petrified of the dentist but I'd rather go and have my entire jaw ripped out than ever use this again!Edited to add: the day after trying with the stick, I was told by the friend who reccomended it that I should try the cement as they had the same problem, being in agony after using the stick. The cement wasn't the easiest to use, trying to get just 1 drop of water is harder than it sounds! But it applied fairly easily, dried quickly and has solved my problem! No pain, unlike the stick. A little messy, I've covered the entire tooth and surrounding teeth by accident but hey at least they're all protected! So in coinclusion to any one thinking of trying this product, it is worth it but skip even attempting to use the stick filler. Go straight to using the cement that's supposed to be for repairing crowns. Unless you want to spend a night in extreme pain, that is.
