I first bought these Remington clippers during lockdown whrn the hairdressers closed down. They have been so good that I have not been back to a hairdressers on the four years since.However my original set have just started to fail. Basically the clippers do not hold their charge anymore so need to be constantly plugged in.But I can have no complaints after four years of regular use.So I did not hesitate in buying another set. The price was virtually identical to four years ago, which is pretty impressive. My only gripe is that my original set came with a smart fitted zipped bag for the clippers, but this set only comes with a much cheaper pull cord general bag to hold the clippers and all the accessories.But that is not the end of the world, as it does not affect the quality and performance of the clippers which is just as good as the original.Very even cut. Big range of length accessories. Also comes with specialist brush to clean the clippers after use, and a small bottle of oil to lubricate the cutting mechanism as required.In summary, I would recommend these clippers for ease of use, quality of finish, and value for money.

This is a great device.I have been cutting my own hair for most of my adult life and I have tried any and all the "normal" hair clippers out there. I have also tried the odd ball from time to time - like the ones that have round blades and are supposed to cut hair 'quickly and evenly'. Yeah, right!This one, I have to say, is a great hair clipper. It is better than anything I have ever owned and used before - and the price is just silly money when you consider what even a simple hair cut costs these days!It has a full set of hair length guards that just clip into place on the device, so you can cut from very short to reasonably short. Check the sizes to make sure it is going to suit your own preferred style.What I like -Quick and easy to charge.Easy to fit and remove hair length guards.Comfortable to use.Really quick and neat cut.Does not clog up with hair in use - major plus point if you have thick stuff like me!Easy to clean - I just shook mine and gave it a quick rinse.It comes with a zippered case to take the clipper and one, fitted, hair length guard.The only thing I don't like is the fact that the case that comes with it only holds the actual clipper, and you have to find someplace else to store all the hair length guards, oil and cleaning brush. Every other Remington I have owned has had a case that holds everything, so I am a little disappointed with that. That said, I will be retiring my old Remington anyway, so I'll just re-use the case that came with that one.It's a niggle and not worth losing a star for over.Other than that, a really great device and deserves the 5 star rating.

I have bought a few hair clippers recently after my old ones had started to pack in. Having spent a considerably amount of money assuming if I spend more I will get better quality and ending up sending them back as they were awful I finally went with this.Well first of all its very easy to hold, I will say that is for someone with a large hand. If you are quite small it may be tough and tiring to hold and control. The other thing is its nice and sharp, no need to take the No1 clip off its just fine to give a close cut. Yes, this does shape around the head well but the only thing I would say knocks a star off is it really needs to come with extension clips that can do behind the ears like a lot of brands do.The USB charges really quick and it has a good charge that lasts for a considerable amount of time. No loud noise or rattles from it as well so it seems to be well built.In fact for the money, I think this is excellent value.

Have had the clippers for just over 4 weeks, and now used twice.First time played safe and used the no2 and although tricky on how to clasp the clippers, on doing different parts of my head, eventually managed, and very good job, if I say it myself.Second time's used, never used any of the attachments, and with getting used to how to grip trimmer on different parts of my head, again excellent results, and managed to do in 5 minutes.Definitely would recommend, as paying £12 for haircut, just to have a No1, this as nearly payed for itself just after 2 cuts.Easy to clean, and just charge after each use, and also let's trimmer dry as clean under running tap.Clean, oil, dry, charge, back in bag, ready for next haircut.
