Prima Marketing 590253 Watercolour Confections Pans, Multi-Colour

This is a great watercolour palette at really good value for the price. My only issue is that some colours (the bluer tones) are much less vibrant than others. The yellow-orange colour is very intense and vibrant but some of the blues are much less so. Nevertheless this is a great palette and the watercolours look really nice on the paper and don't dry down chalky at all.

Nice pastel colours for creating sugary chocolate box paintings. The quality is good but a little too opaque for my liking as I can not always use the colours with my Winsor & Newton watercolour paintings as they look a little too powdery and opaque and stand out. A good set for using on their own to create cards and book markers etc.

Gorgeous colours. Very opaque for watercolours though. Possibly the most easily activated paints I've ever used. The only problem I have is that the pans don't seem to clip in properly and there is a fair bit of spare space in the time. Useful if you want to add additional pans to the palette, but if you don't then the pans do rattle around in there a fair bit which isn't ideal for travelling!

Pros: wonderful colours, coverage and opacity. Plenty of space for mixing, ideal for travelling . Nice card for making your own colour chart. Cons: considering the price I was disappointed that the pans dont fit into the metal sections they are in, so when using they move around a lot. Quite frustrating. Also a small brush could have been included in the big gap in the middle.

these are so good for getting lovely pastel colours, you can control the paints very easily so illustrations look crisp and great quality. no speckles or graininess

I love the little tin the colours are fabulous, great quality. I am delighted and going to get other colours they do.

First palette came with the metal attachments detached, but customer service was very helpful. The paints soak water and rewet really well, the colours are very pretty but does have ‘bits’ in every now and then and are chalky (when wet and dry). They smear even when 100% dry, so not suitable with masking fluid

amo questi acquarelli. questi sono alcuni lavori che ho fatto appena mi sono arrivati i colori. colori molto delicati e allo stesso tempo vivaci. ho ordinato altri colori come tropicale e altro che in questo momento mi sfugge il nome :D

I had these paints for over 3 years, and they are still in excellent condition. I probably used these for every single watercolour painting I've ever done, and they're barely even used up! I just touch the brush with the paint once, and just like that, the colour is rich, doesn't need to be watered down that much. A cool thing about these is that they can create this cool semi-opaque effect if you put enough of the paint on your brush and don't water it down, which can create some neat effects, texture, and excellent layering! Despite the price being a bit high (imo) for its size, these were so worth it! Love these and highly recommend!

As aquarelas são otimas, bem pigmentadas mas opacas. Isso já era sabido já que cores pastéis precisam de uma base branca em sua maioria. Gostaria de a Amazon Brasil vendesse mais dessa aquarela.

Nice quality, highly recommended. The colors are vibrant; despite being pastels, they have very good pigment. I really enjoy the colors; they are very lovely. In my honest opinion, I would have preferred another color instead of having two pinks (lemonade and rose). In other comments, I read that you might feel these are chalky on paper, but here's the thing: the unique property of watercolor is its transparency. To create pastel colors, you need to add white gouache, so you might find these watercolors (and any other pastel watercolors) somewhat opaque. However, the same half pan is very sticky. P.S. I bought this in October 2020.
