Great product
I was quite apprehensive about using the product having looked online at installation, providing you keep the film lubricated with soap and water while applying it goes on OK the only problem I found was a sharp bend down it did not want to stick initially however if you keep moulding it with you fingers it eventually sticks down. I am impressed with the product.

Fiddly to fit, but does the job
Arrived promptly, packaged well, quality holding up so far. Reading other reviews I was prepared for it being a challenging fit, but the tips helped. I had ordered this to protect the top surface of my rear bumper from scratches during loading and unloading of the boot. Once on it is almost invisible, and hopefully will do its job of protecting the painted surface well. All of that said, applying it was as challenging as I had expected it to be. I suspect it would fit relatively easily on a straight edge or surface, but few surfaces / edges on cars are straight, especially bumpers. So what it needs is some dishwasher fluid mixed with water (preferably in a spray bottle rather than in a bowl) to lubricate and slide the tape into place, plenty of patience, and a hair dryer to gently mould the tape to follow the curve or shape of the bumper or door sill. Having someone else use the hair dryer may help as negotiating the tape over the surface with ample dishwasher fluid sprayed on makes the fingers wet and slippery, and you end up operating the hair dryer with the same wet fingers while manipulating the tape into shape - not exactly easy to do - or safe! Anyway, patiently coaxing the tape into shape while frequently spraying dishwasher fluid and heating using the hair dryer finally got it into the right shape. As I was following a curve I started by fixing the centre, and then using the hair dryer to mould the protector tape into place one side at a time. People doing straight edges or surfaces will find it a lot easier than I did. The combination of plenty of dishwasher fluid - water mixture and the use of the hair dryer ensures that one does not need to fuss too much about bubbles initially as they can eventually be pushed out using the supplied spatula, the gentle use of finger nails, or even a wet sponge or tissue. Just make sure you have cleaned the surface adequately prior to application as any dust particles or greasy residue will cause problems. It's on now, is near invisible, and looks like it will do its protective job.

Ok for flat surfaces.
Works ok if you use heat when putting in place. Not as flexible as genuine 3m ventureshield which I’ve used before. You must spray surface with water with a couple of drops of washing up liquid in to allow it To slide into place then squeegee out the water with a flat scraper. I used a rubber scraper and a hairdryer to stick the film down whilst removing all bubbles. Very clear when finally in place and should provide good protection.

Works fine
Does the job, I'm not the best when it comes to fitting this type of thing so I left a few air bubbles in it, but that doesn't impact the effectiveness of the product. I used it on the door sills of my wife's Tiguan where the grandchildren (especially the little ones) may stand on the paintwork getting in and out. Plenty there to replace sections if and when the wear out.

This is good stuff if you apply with plenty of soapy solution
As I have had a little bit of experience (very little) before with applying these auto wrap films; I had a general idea of what to expect. This film for me as a Door Sill Gaurd was excellent. I soaked the area and the sticky side of the film with a mist spray of water mixed with a very small amount well known baby shampoo. This allowed the film to move around quite easily till it was were I wanted it. Then I used a credit card to squeeze the water solution out and job done. The film feels very thick and strong, and I will definitly find a job for the remaining film as you do get plenty.

Difficult to apply but seems tough and barely visible
This car door sill protection film is difficult to apply as others have already stated. It needs quite a lot of soapy water to apply and then won't stay put until you manage to squeeze the water out from behind it. However, the film is very tough and barely visible once it's been applied. Persevere and you should end up with a good result.

Great stuff
This really works very well. I'm completely happy with it. Simple instructions and easier to fit than most similar products.

Ok for what you get
Purchased to protect sills and boot lip, far too big for one and not big enough for the other, my mistake! Apart from this, the product is not as good as I was expecting. the adhesion isn't great, the sticky side isn't very sticky. I cleaned all the parts to be covered, sprayed with the solution but it wouldn't stay in place, the scraper made obvious marks in the plastic so I had to resolve with dry cloths. The plastic film wouldn't attach to curves either, but ok on flat surfaces. It's on but for how long??? Not for the perfectionist.
