Perfect replacement for a 30 year old tape gun (only let down by some of the plastic parts cracking). This tape gun is very well made, very sturdy and should last another 30 years.

I already had one of these so purchased this one as a gift for my Son so he didn’t take mine when he was moving. Its robust, does exactly what it should, cuts tape cleanly every-time and doesn't spring apart like a cheaper one I had years ago. I highly recommend it, it’s worth every penny and I use it regularly. It takes the large clear tape as well as the brown parcel tape.

It's sad that I'm so excited about something so mundane! I've used a lot of different ones for my company, packing up demo stock and exhibition material, but none even come close to this one. Just buy it. Don't even look at the others. The body is made from thick pressed metal - so no flexing (unlike plastic ones). The other parts are made from heavy duty plastics. All of the parts are either screwed or bolted together for easy disassembly and cleaning. The tape stays firmly on the drum in use (no sliding off). There is a tension screw on the tape drum spindle so you can adjust the speed the tape comes out (due to tape thickness or the adhesive used on it). The cutter teeth have a plastic guard on them (the teeth are so sharp) which needs to be flipped out of the way before use. One final thing that is easy to miss: the handle has an ergonomic pistol grip shape, so is only really comfortable for right hand use. As others have said, there is no manual but just search YouTube for videos on how to load carton sealers. Will last you a lifetime. Use with Packatape brown parcel tape (also from Amazon) and you won't go wrong!

this is a good quality product. It works well and saves a lot of hassle / frustration I would advise any buyer to look at a few Youtube videos on how to set things up. it doesn't matter which video you watch. These things are all set up in a similar way Like many life skills this looks hard but is simplicity itself once you have been shown how.

I have used inferior dispensers for taping boxes before, and tbh, it's never been less than exhilarating. Watching the spool turn, the tape laying flat and straight, simply magical, and i never fail to gasp as the cutter teeth shear through the yielding sheen of tight, glossy, golden brown parcel tape. Why pay more for this when all your desires can be satisfied for a lower price tag? Because this PacPlus Heavy Duty Premium badboy is God-Tier tape dispensing. Nothing will prepare you for the waves of pleasure you'll feel as that tape adheres immaculaely, straight and true, wiith a cutter so surgical in its precision you dont even have to think as you work your wrist to release the perfectly taped parcel, ready for despatch. In timed trials this unit , timed over 10 parcel boxes, saved between 12% and 19% over lower priced , inferior units, And operators achieved over 23% more waves of pleasure while using it. Most of our employees insist on taking theirs home with them, for fear an agency worker might interfere with their new best buddy, lover, and wingman. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this to anybody for use in work, or for the serious hobbyist parcel tape afficionado, or even for newcomers to the parcel tape dispensing scene.

TL;DR, the product is perfect and well built. I've worked in a factory before and used the cheap plastic ones (red and grey ones that can be found on here). They were good, never had any issues. If you are looking for a quality product however (that can take a few beatings like a good wife), then this product is worth the few quid extra. It's built from sturdy materials. The only negatives that I had with this are the packaging (see pic) and the fact that the product looked as if it had just been placed into the box after coming out of a sawmill (it was covered in loads of sawdust). Neither of which affect the product.
