Cables quite thick and unwieldy so low worktop sockets might be an issue

Great back up stove
I live in a park home and I unfortunately ran out of gas 2 days before Christmas due to a faulty regulator which meant I had no idea I was running low. I bought this as a back up so I could still cook food on a hob while I waited for a gas delivery. This has been a life saver, it works well, has a small and large plate. Cooks just as well as a gas hob and stores away nicely in a cupboard. Easy to clean.

Excellent hot plate!
We had a panic on just before Christmas with our hob not working, so got this as a back up in case the hob wasn't fixed in time , it was , however we still used this as more rings are required at Christmas, especially when catering for 10 Christmas day and 8 boxing day , the hot plate was excellent and I used the larger one for the massive pot of gravy and the smaller one for carrots, worked in perfect harmony with the main hob 👍🏻 very pleased with this hot plate and if you need extra rings etc it's perfect, plus if students require a hot plate fir bed sits , flats etc , I would certainly recommend 👍🏻

Very responsive, heats up quickly.
I have been relying on a dual hot plate due to refurbishment of my home. The Duronic has a super fast response, quick to bring items to the boil with responsive knobs to increase or decrease the heat of the hot plates. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Useful plate, wish it reached higher temperatures for cooking.
It’s ok I wish the plate could reach higher temperatures because it takes a while to get there and tbh it’s still not to my liking, compared to a stove. Making scrambled eggs took a while, also boiled water from the kettle, had to put a lid on to get there.
