Soft but not too soft almond torrone. Not very sticky, either, unlike similar products I've tried recently. Thin wafers top and bottom may account for some of the difference. Loaded with almonds that provide a satisfying crunch. Individually wrapped pieces come in orange, vanilla and lemon. The wrapping keeps them very fresh. I like the lemon the least. The vanilla ones are my favorite. Hard to stop eating these once you start! This is the gold standard for soft torrone nougat!

Excellent. All three flavors are delicious. The texture is perfectly chewy but not mushy. Nicely packaged too. Definitely fit for gift-giving during holiday season or bringing to a gathering for the desert table or as a hostess gift. The little boxes are so cute too; they can be recycled to use for organizing small trinkets or using as small gift boxes.And by the way....Don't listen to some of the reviewers who say there is thin paper on the candy that you have to pick and peel off. It is NOT paper. It is a thin, edible wafer made from potato starch and olive oil; it is basically tasteless, and very delicate. I believe it's used to keep the candy from being sticky to the touch.

Thrilled to find this item on Amazon. Being Italian, this was a family favorite for Holidays that my Dad would buy at our Italian import store here. I’ve never been capable of finding them! We haven’t had these since 2003. So, Imagine the Delight of my siblings & now adult children! Now the tradition can live on with All of Our 10 & counting Grandchildren! Thank You for bringing this tradition back to my family!

These are very good and fresh - but there is a thin layer of rice paper on them and it can be a challenge to peel it off fully, without taking sticky bits of the candy with it or you may choose to eat the rice paper, it is suppose to be edible. I would still buy these for a special indulgence as they are delicious and worth the extra effort.
