I bought this brand of water timers 20 years ago to fill my pool. The main reason I bought it because I was filling the pool and went to the movies without turning the water off. When I got home the pool was just starting to overflow.The timer has worked great for 20-years but the dial was getting a little warn and the body was starting to leak a little. I bought the same brand again because 20-years in the hot sun has proven to me that this is a very reliable timer. I highly recommend it. It's simple and works. There are a lot of Wi-Fi enabled products out there, but this simple timer avoids all the possible problems with Wi-Fi.One thing to make sure you do is to turn off the water to relieve the pressure on the timer.

It's predecessor last 15 years and is still going.
It's predecessor last 15 years and is still going. Needed a second timer so ordered what appears to be an identical product from the outside, lets hope the same quality is on the inside and the bean counter haven't "improved" it.This is just a simple mechanical timer just turn the knob for an up to 2 hour run time.
