For simple jobs it is fine.
I just wanted a simple airbrush to spray primer onto models. my current airbrush just seems to clog with primers even when thinned down but this worked OK. Initially took a while to get the paint to flow as there are not really any instructions for that but once I worked that out with some trial and error it was OK.The primer sprayed on OK and the result was as good as you would get with a spray can which for my purpose was OK.The little clip thing pinged off- wasn't sure what that did anyway!Whilst not great it serves the purpose and is cheaper that using spray cans.

Perfect for a new starter to airbrushing
Simple to use for a learner .I sometimes prefer the paint in a jar rather than in a gravity feed pot (depending on the paint used )Will be used on plastic model ships.

I'm not using it as an airbrush
I bought this as a way to spray air into picture frames when trying to get specks of dust out from behind glass before sealing. Its good for that. I have not used it for paint or ink so can not comment on how good it is for that

If you're looking for precision ...
Then maybe this isn't the best choice for you. Basic, but solid and perfectly useful for general use - I tend to use mine for undercoating mostly rather than detailed/fineline painting. And while I did have some issues with it being a little 'splattery', some adjustment to the diffuser cone helped.Overall, a great starter airbrush or a fallback/backup.Recommended.

Did I just 'bottle'it!
This kit looks as though it's a great little airbrush kit. I didn't want to spend on a compressor for my use of this airbrush - spraying very watered down glue of very low viscosity, didn't need that quality of finish or cost for this purpose - and the kit comes with an adaptor for a propellant bottle - so that's what I attempted to use. Unfortunately, I never got to use it because I was completely unable to make the bottle adaptor seal with the bottle. Looking at it critically, it didn't seem to be capable of sealing! Further more, having finally achieved about a 95% seal, the bottle pressure blew off the air line from the airbrush connector. Having contacted Silverline, and asked whether my propellant was too higher pressure they advised me that they didn't have any particular recommendation for a propellant bottle supplier and that any would do the job. I've given it 2 stars because if used with a compressor, it just might be fine, but probably really should only be 1 star! I have unfortunately returned the product. Great shame.

Unhappy
I was really unhappy with the product. Since I first used it after return period it was hard for me to find a better one. Some items had cracks on the it releasing gas whenever i tried to press

Nice starter airbrush - does a decent job
This is a great starter airbrush. I bought it to uniformly apply paint to some models I was working on and it did the job very well. I will probably switch to something with a compressor for future projects though as I found it annoying to have a large gas can attached to the tubing.
