Very Effective and Soothing Cream
This Lansinoh HPA cream is extremely effective for sore nipples. It provides fast relief, soothes the skin, and helps with healing. A little goes a long way, and it’s gentle enough for frequent use. An essential product for breastfeeding mothers.

lansinoh nipple saver
56g Lansinoh for Breastfeeding for Mums I'm 10 days in to feeding a new baby and without this cream I probably wouldn't be continuing or would certainly have given up. I had cracked and sore nipples almost to the stage of bleeding and this cream just kept them soft enough to prevent complete breakdown of the nipple. A thin layer of this cream over the nipple just gave it enough time to heal. I also found that using this cream with Savoy Cabbage leaves straight out the fridge was a God send the cream and cold leaf worked a treat. I would highly recomend this cream to any mother who wants to continue to breast feed but is struggling with the pain. I am just coming out the other side and it is starting to become much easier to feed as the nipples are starting to toughen up. I still use the cream just to make sure we don't go back to those early days. I was also advised by a midwife to use it on my nether regions in place of vaseline after birth, please speak to your midwife about this before using, but it really helped me to get past the stinging sensation as the midwife says it has a mild aneastetic which can help to dull the pain. It really worked for me but as I said, check with your midwife first. I am finding breastfeeding easier everyday now so thanks to this product and of course lots of encouragement from others and a good part of self will we got throught the worst of early breast feeding trauma.

Couldn't have breastfed without it!
This has been a lifesaver! I used the ointment after every feed even before my nipples got sore. They seemed fine so I stopped using it for one day. That night feeding my wee boy was quite painful and I felt very tender and looked very pink! Went back to using the ointment after every feed and all's well again! The tube also lasts for ages as my little boy is now 3 weeks old and, other than that 1 day, I have applied the ointment after every feed and still have loads left! Excellent value for money. I would advise every feeding mother to use this from the very first feed. Don't wait for the pain to come, and by using this, you could well avoid it altogether!

Breast is best
So my third baby and the only one I managed to breast feed successfully.. Thanks in part to this stuff which helped soothe and protect my nipples in the early days when I hadn't got the hang of latching and wound up with painful sore nipples. A little tip.. Rub in left over breast milk as it has antibacterial qualities blow gently to dry, then apply this stuff to the nipple and to the inside of your breast pad as this will help prevent painful sticking.... Most importantly, congratulations on at the very least attempting to breast feed! It can be tough in the first few days weeks but so worth it! 8months in still going strong... Oh

Oh my nipples!
Unfortunately in the hospital my son was suffering some mucus problem due to forceps delivery and as a result he wanted to sleep the entire afternoon into the evening which as any mum will know, did not impress the hospital staff when it came to being allowed home. With a little help from a support worker they (apologies for the info) hand expressed...and in the end my nipple suffered. By the next day it was evil, cracked sore (which it would have been anyway) and sadly bleeding. I put this cream on religiously for a week ( I still do) but it heals while wet which is ideal because there is no hanging out to dry when loaded with milk especially in the beginning. It doesn't offer instant soothing but it prevents drying and aids healing in the process...I got so bad that I can recommend this as I was having to contemplate giving up breast feeding.

I preferred similar products...
Like many new breastfeeding mums I suffered quite a bit initially from sore breasts (to be honest, five weeks on I'm still suffering, but stoic). I came down with mastitis twice in the first two weeks and was desperate for something that would provide relief and help me potentially avoid another bout. I had several products to hand given by friends and family who knew what I was up against, but I saw the rave reviews for Lansinoh and had it recommended by midwives, etc. so decided to see if it would be the miracle cure. Ultimately, I found the Lansinoh much thicker than other, similar products. Conseqeuntly, it required more intensive application to areas I didn't want to bring into contact with anything other than air (if I could help it)! Although the Lansinoh was moisturizing, I found that softer products like Philips AVENT SCF504/30 30ml Moisturising Nipple Cream were more comfortable to use and similarly convenient (i.e., don't need to be washed off before feeding, can be used as frequently as required - or desired!- etc.) and much cheaper! I don't think this is a bad product; I think it does what it says on the tin, but I have to say it wasn't the miracle solution I was hoping for, either, and I would advise new mums to consider other products too.

Life-saver for breastfeeding!
I brought this product before I had my second son as I wanted to breastfeed. I had suffered with terribly cracked and sore nipples whilst trying to breastfeed my first son and gave up in the end after a few weeks. This product was an absolute life-saver the second time round. Even though I got sore nipples again, it helped to soothe the skin and not get worse. I breast-fed for longer and believe it was because of this product. I would recommend this to all mothers who want to breastfeed. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because the lanolin in the product leaves a grease residue on any clothes it comes into contact with and is hard to shift in the wash, so do not wear your favourite tops when using this.

Aiuta a cicatrizzare senza lasciare segni.
