For a low cost phone this is an excellent purchase Easy to use, clear dialling number pads and a great call barring facility. Well pleased.

My elderly, forgetful father in law is plagued with nuisance and even scam calls and quite often ended up paying out for things he didn't need, e.g. his washing machine was insured by 3 different companies! I signed him up for the Telephone Preference Service which made no difference. This phone goes a long way to sorting out these problems. I added all his family and contact phone numbers to the phone (very slow process), used the phone's default blacklist of know nuisance calls and activated the "announce" setting; when callers who aren't in his address book ring they must record their name and then the phone rings, when picked up you hear the name and can decide to answer or hang up. This feature seems to stop nearly all nuisance callers and most hang up rather than saying their name. The phone can also be set to send all calls to voicemail but this is too confusing for my father in law. The ring on the phone is loud and call quality perfect. The display us what stood it getting 5 stars, there is no backlight to the LCD display which means it is unreadable to my father in law, as this phone is aimed at elderly people I think it is a pity they missed the opportunity to make the phone perfect.

Just the item we wanted for fibre usage, instruction book could have covered how to stop the telephone bleeping when received a message but good value

An elegantly straightforward and easy to use phone plus answering machine. The menu is easy to use with almost all of the facilities simple and intuitive to access and use. The call blocking facility and its associated features make the purchase worthwhile by themselves. I do agree with some other reviewers who have pointed out the phone is very light. A little more heft to the unit would be welcomed, likewise an option to illuminate the display panel to make reading the messages easier.

Good telephone but I was a bit surprised that it is battery operated. But other than that it seems to do the job.

Bought this corded phone for its call blocking and it works brilliantly. Unknown callers must announce their name before the phone rings, so I can accept or block easily. Robocalls have almost stopped. Easy setup, big clear buttons perfect for seniors, good speakerphone, crisp sound, and built in answering machine with plenty of space. Works during power cuts too. Solid reliable choice for a peaceful home line!

I had the previous model which I think was made of a slightly better material. If the phone rang while your were out, you could see the red light flashing from far away, which was super convenient; this one does not. What it does do however, is flash once every 60 seconds, constantly, and I have absolutely no idea why! I wouldn't mind but the phone is on my desk and within my eyeline. If anyone can help on this one I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise a nice looking phone with good sound quality and easy access to what you need straight away.

This is the second BT Decor 2600 l have purchased. The last one was 10 years ago. Love the Guardian on it checking calls and giving you the option to block. Good answering phone so you can always see who called and the message left. So easy to set up and the instructions are easy so all in all a really good buy. Hoping it lasts as long as the last one 🤞

Il n'y avait pas de cordon adapté me permettant de brancher le téléphone à ma box, ou dans la prise murale.

Ho acquistato il Telefono BRITISH TELECOM per il design. Il Prodotto è arrivato nei tempi previsti, ma nella confezione ho trovato il cavetto per collegarsi alla rete (ingresso al router) con il Jack non compatibile con le prese italiane (immagino sia una presa per UK). Ho sostituito il cavetto ma il telefono non funziona (sul display appare la scritta "checking line"). Contestualmente avevo acquistato su Amazon anche un Sirio della TIM, collegato allo stesso router funziona perfettamente. Ho avviato la pratica di reso per il Telefono BRITISH TELECOM. Deluso.

Es un teléfono muy fácil. Hay que ponerle cuatro pilas normales porque lleva una pantalla. Lo bueno que tiene es que no se queda sin batería. Teclas grandes.

El teléfono funciona perfecto y es muy útil por el listín telefónico. Es bonito. Por contra hay que comprar un adaptador de menos de 3€ para poder usarlo en España

El cable que trae no es RJ11 la parte de la conexión a la pared, pero aun conectándolo con otro cable no coje la linea, da mensaje de revisar línea y es imposible llamar con ONO, ni da señal Quizà estuviera el teléfono estropeado, pero parece que no funciona en españa.
