JYETech DSO Coral Pocket Battery-Powered Oscilloscope w/Color Touch Display (DSO112A, DSO112)

I received the JYE Tech DSO Coral 112A Oscilloscope today it seems very but just one thing, when I tried to turn the unit on after setting the battery switch as per instructions there was no power, so I plug the charger in (usb cable supplied) the unit powered up ok but for some reason the battery not charging so investigated further by taking out the 4 cover screws disconnected the battery checked it out and it showed 73% full, it turns out to be the battery connector not fully inserted into the battery socket. Before returning I would checked this out. And for this reason I give 4 stars.

To small for effective use you need nimble fingers and good eye sight

For quick investigation and troubleshooting, it is a perfect device. Of course, its function is not to replace a high-end benchtop professional oscilloscope. But it is easy to carry around and use it to obtain fast results. As its cables are not shielded coaxial cables, beware of interference pickup from the probe cable. I strongly recommend as quick reference tool.

Very good value for money, was very easy to use

I found the controls via the tiny touch screen difficult to use and they sometimes took multiple touches to get a response.Returned it.

great for quick checks on electronics simple projects where a large scope is inconvenient / where you dont have a bench for your projects or money for a larger digital scope etc.

This is a surprisingly good little pocket oscilloscope. It's good quality, very functional and very easy to use. I'm delighted with it.

Fantastic little toy, no match for a full scale scope but you can't fit them in your pocket
