Worth purchasing! Especially for zombie ammo!
This is the second time I've bought this aerial so I thought I'd write a review and give this little TV companion it's just deserts. When the first one arrived, it came in such a small box it made me think "really?! is that it? I'm glad I'm not a woman buying this!" But I'm here to tell you that size really does not matter! In this day and age when packaging consists of a crate that you have to transport using a trolley (truck if you're from the good ole' US of A) just to receive a micro USB card I was pleased that it came in such a compact and environmentally conscious box!The aerial may be small in stature, but it does pack a whallop! It's got a surprisingly reassuring weight to it. You feel like if you were playing hot potato you'd have to give it a little more effort to fling it than just a small "flick of the wrist".This also goes for each part. It comes in 2 parts, a base that has a decent magnet rather than some that you may find slip off if the dog lets off a whiny bottom burp (We all know it's you, and you're just blaming it on your poor pooch!). Stick it to anything magnetic and it'll stay there, even if your house decides to start crumbling around you (I really must check my foundation!). You'll note from the pictures I have mine stuck on the back of my TV!The second receiver part has a good weight to it also, like it could be loaded into an SLR, and if you bought multiples of these you'd be set for the zombie apocalypse that we all know is coming! Erection is easy! Just give it a "good screw" into the base and you're all set!"So what does it pick up?" you're asking yourselves. Well, if aliens were actually visiting Area 51 in America you'd find out before they even get past the kuiper belt! Seriously, you'd be reaching for the phone to get through the the president, only to be turned down as a conspiracy nut, but we all know the truth!!Well, it may not quite be that sensitive but you'll pick up all your terrestrial and freeview channels as quick as a sailor who comes ashore in Amsterdam (Yes, it's that good!)So yes, I'd recommend this cheap and cheerful, rather phallic looking receiver. Besides, if you don't use it for your TVs, at least you can stock up on the for the apocalypse!Enjoy!

Very Good.
Brilliant additon to the Amazon fire stick, which I now use all the time. This little aerial provides a very good reception, clear picture and all the freeview channels. No need to pay for standard TV channels anymore. I purchased two more aerials for the TV upstairs and in the kitchen because it gives such a good reception.

Didn't work for me
Easy to install and quality fine but sadly didn't work for me; only picked up about 3 channels but even then the picture quality was poor. Straightforward returns process though so nothing lost by giving it a try.

Works as described on Roku TV for freeview channels
Works perfectly. I recently got a Roku TV, but I prefer to watch live TV and you can't see all the available channels without opening each app to see what was playing. So I thought to try one of these antenna to see if it can help the TV find the free-to-air channels. Connected it and the TV found all the Freeview channels easily. And it didn't need a power source to boost the signal. The magnetic base is also useful to attach the antenna to the TV bracket. Very happy with the purchase.

This Aerial Really Does Work!
After my very expensive outdoor aerial failed last week I found myself in a pickle, do I lash out £150-£250 for an engineer to come out and replace my failed aerial or do I just rely on streaming TV.I quickly realised that streaming wasn't enough so I was thinking of calling an engineer when I thought of looking on Amazon to see what options they offered. I'm so glad that I did.Of all the indoor/portable options available (and there are lots) I chose this one and to be honest I had little faith in it actually doing the job. Oh me of little faith! It arrived yesterday in its tiny box (this thing is really TINY) and putting it together was a cinch. I unplugged my old lead and plugged this one in then sat back on my sofa. I switched the TV on and opted for tuning.I sat and watched the blue bar move from left to right and no numbers were showing so I felt vindicated that this wouldn't work then all of a sudden it started to find channels, I was overjoyed!I remember my old aerial clocked up over 300 channels (I never knew there were so many) and this one clocked up 44 but that was likely down to the fact I'd just placed the aerial on the sideboard by the TV.I relocated it by the window and did a retune, this time it found 106 channels so I left it there and counted my blessings.I then went through all the stations I regularly use and the only one that was missing was Sky News on channel 233.To conclude, for the doubters out there, if you need a TV aerial in a hurry that offers pretty good coverage for the outlay then buy this one, it REALLY DOES WORK.

Ok but only in strong signal areas.
Ok in strong signal areas but doesn't find that many channels just the basic ones, alright if you just want it for casual use out and about or in the kitchen or bedroom. Cheap enough but a reason for that.
