BT 2200 Cordless Landline House Phone with Nuisance Call Blocker, Single Handset Pack

Excellent item , good battery life so easy to set up and use

I needed to replace our landline phone after a line fault damaged it. The landline barely gets used, living as we do in 2023, but it's better to have one and not use it than not have one and find yourself needing it. Sound quality is fine (in as much as I've listened to the dial tone), it's comfy in the hand and the screen is much better than the old Panasonic one it's replaced. But. The clock display will only do 12 hour, not 24 hour. And it always adds a leading zero, resulting in (for example) 04:20 PM. That's an incredibly sloppy design/programming oversight. So I'm glad I don't have to look at it too much because for 18 hours a day it could be quite triggering...

Good DECT phone i have mine on do not disturb however when someone calls me the handset lights up blue an flashes blue on the base which alerts me to an imcomming call. This phone would be great for the hard of hearing an elderly. I fimd no fault with the phone you must charge it for 16 hours out off the box before before you start to use it i charged mine for 24 an set the date and time. The buttons on tje keyoad are soft you have excellent call quality and loud speaker and a mute button you can have it laying from out the base anywhere within 300 meters i tried it an works . When someone calls you the hamdset rings and so does the base i switched off the base ringing it has rhe time and date on the phone however is does not use the 24 hour clock its either eg 2:10A basically 2 in the morning or 2:10P 2 in the afternoon there are other advanved features on the phone i dont need. Over all for the price 10/10 BT always make good house dect phones. Buy one youll be happy If you need further information about the phone send me a message. Cheers

We decided to change our phones and needed 4 as it's a 3 story house, so we bought 4 BT2200 handsets and a digital answer machine and have not been disappointed. The BT 2200 is a good price, 4 handsets and the answer machine coming in at around £80. They feel good and look good sat in their little docks. They have good sound quality and display and an easy to use intercom system, which makes locating people in our house much simpler than before. There are many other things the phones can do, but I would advise downloading the BT2200 call-blocker phone user guide, as the manual you get with the phones is only a quick star guide. I would certainly recommend these phones for purchase. Also delivered within 2 days and free delivery.

The phone is well designed and big enough so that you don't terminate the call accidentally with your ear (unlike on some small handsets). Sound is good, with a decent hands-free speaker. Downside is the directory which is fiddly to navigate and limited to only 50 entries - that wasn't acceptable 20 years ago, and is just plain pathetic now. Also, the name field for an entry is limited to only 12 characters, which isn't enough if you're trying to enter a first name and surname, let alone an extra M, H or W to indicate where somebody is ringing from. The name field could have been at least 9 characters longer, as the word "Phonebook" unnecessarily prefixes every entry, and I can't find a way to remove it. I'll stick with this phone for a bit, but hope to find a better one soon at a reasonable price, when this one can go to charity.

We bought this phone to replace an expensive cordless phone which was beginning to malfunction. It is ideal for our purposes; I particularly like the feature of being able to turn up an incoming caller volume as I am somewhat hard of hearing. I couldn't comment on the lock feature as we have never used it.

In order to make full use of the features advertised as being part of this product be aware that they're assuming you have landline features that come with additional provider costs and thus the features will not automatically work. You need caller display as part of your phone package to make use of the phones features including blocking callers. You can't use the features without that from your call provider. This is why it looses a star because it's not made clear until after you've bought the phone. I've since had to pay additional to be able to make use if it and the main purpose for purchase to help me manage a phone phobia as I need to see whose calling. Otherwise it's a good phone, with the "do not disturb" Working without additional costs and I recommend it especially to anyone who struggles with calls, but felt customers need to be aware of exactly what they are and aren't getting as I felt it was a bit misleading.
