First in my leader bag is a good size and isn’t too heavy and is an essential piece of kit for anyone in the hills who may need to use this type of thing in emergencies. It was a reasonable price so it represents good value for money for its intended use.

Does what the are made for

Used for GOLD DofE - Useful item which is key for all participants, does the job and can fit 2 large sized packs inside. Keeps dry. However started noticing rips from some wear and tear. But it does the job. It also fits my 6foot friend inside.

Thankfully haven't had to use it yet. On opening up it appears to be of good quality and although a little heavier than others I had looked at it's slightly thicker and more heavy duty. The bright orange really stands out too making you easier to spot in an emergency. For £3.50 can't go wrong, folds flat so it takes up next to no space in your backpack, an essential for hiking in the hills!

It probably is lightweight compared to others but is heavier than I expected. Excellent product though and great value for money

Heavier than I thought it would be - I have an emergency bothy shelter that isn't much heavier though a little bigger and tend to take it now in winter as emergency back-up. May take both but I suspect not. Well made and seems robust though.

Brought for sons cadet camps, will also be used for d of e. Perfect size for a rucksack and light enough to not add extra weight. Luckily haven’t had to use it yet and I hope he never has to. This is recommended by the air cadets and they take their safety very seriously especially when climbing mountains. A must have for all kits of hikers, cadets d of e participants and any other outdoor activities.

Son never had to use it. But it is well made and an item that should be carried when camping out.

Una sicurezza da tenere nel fondo dello zaino in caso di necessità. Basti pensare al caso di una grandinata o bufera di neve che impediscano il ritorno in sicurezza, in quel momento sarà necessario attrezzare un riparo per passare la notte scongiurando l'ipotermia (la maggior parte dei casi di morti in montagna per assideramento, sono morti a temperature superiori allo zero...). Per un semplice, ma efficacie riparo bisognerà affiancare la borsa di sopravvivenza ad un un telo termico da astronauta. In questo modo si otterrà un rifugio sufficientemente caldo e, soprattutto asciutto. A voi le considerazioni finali, come ogni accessorio non è indispensabile, tenete conto del peso e dell'ingombro non indifferente.

Práctico, aunque no necesité utilizarlo. Pero ya lo tengo para otra salida al campo.

Für die Notfalltasche im Fahrzeug oder den BOB, Krisenvorsorge, für Wanderungen etc. Eine stabile und wiederverwendbare Möglichkeit seine eigene Körperwärme zu erhalten oder einen anderen vor Wärmeverlust zu schützen. Wiegt 345 g - kann aber im Notfall Leben retten. Kaufempfehlung von mir!

I've not even opened up the package yet, as this is for emergency use only, but I can tell by the heft of this item that it is going to be very durable
