I picked this up to start messing around with some electronic projects, and I’m honestly so impressed with how much stuff they manage to pack into the box. If you’ve been wanting to learn programming or get into basic circuit building without getting frustrated, this is a brilliant place to start.The hardware bundle includes an absolute ton of components, from basic resistors and LEDs to more advanced sensors and modules. Everything feels decent quality and fits perfectly on the breadboard. What really makes this a winner, though, is the online learning platform. SunFounder gives you access to a massive database of step-by-step tutorials and video courses that walk you through every single project from scratch. They provide the full code for multiple programming languages like Python and C, so you don't have to guess how anything works. You literally just follow the schematics, copy the code example to test it, and it works perfectly on the first try. It makes the whole learning process incredibly straightforward and stress-free.It is an absolute bargain for the sheer volume of parts and educational material you get. I bought this kit to help introduce my son to electronics. It's also my first proper foray into Arduino despite having worked with microcontrollers for quite a long time. The kit is very well equipped with inputs and outputs to capture the imagination of a beginner. Being able to very quickly and easily assemble a temperature & humidity sensor with an lcd readout was a great starting point for my son, much more satisfying than the old world of lighting or flashing an LED. The slight downside of the generously equipped kit is that it's rather difficult to pack it all away again in the supplied case. As an introductory product it would be nice to keep it all together, but once unpacked it's near impossible to fit it all back in. That being said, if you take out the breadboard it is doable. All in all this does what it supposed to do very well. You are paying a slight premium for what you actually get, but it's worth the price to have everything you need in a single kit. For that reason I would totally recommend!

Very pleased with this. It includes a huge range of parts and everything needed is within the box, even a battery. Despite the few reservations expressed below this was superb value for money and provides for many hours of experiments. I had read that the supplied box easily holds the parts even when opened but I did not find that to be the case. The breadboard is not as good as I hoped and can be temperamental in accepting jump wires. The online lessons are good although not as good or as well illustrated as the Arduino original. The resistor bands are a nuisance to read on a blue background but that could be just my eyesight.

Firstly at the full £40ish price this is a good value item, I got it on the Amazon days at £30! That’s giving it away. Apart from a computer to control it from and download the code and excellent instructional documents to, this has EVERYTHING you need to get started and a lot further down the Arduino, Electronics and Coding path! The case it comes in and all the many components are of very good quality! The instructions are clear and educational, all necessary code is available to download by following the provided link. Well done ELEGOO! This is fantastic 10/10!

Rarely do i review a product but i think this deserves one. For under £30.00 this is a great bit of kit. I bought it for my 11 year old daughter who is fairly bright, to give her an insight into coding, computers and electronics. As someone with basic knowledge myself, an ideal thing for both of us to work through together. The principle of the arduino board and kit is that you can write a basic program that "does physical stuff". Rather than doing code on a computer, that runs on a computer and outputs on a computer, writing code on the arduino can turn led lights on and off, motors, sensors etc. Its basic but can be built up to being complicated. With attention spans being short with children, within 20 minutes of opening the box, you should have your first program of blinking an led light on and off by your own code. There is an awful lot of kit in the box and we are trying to work our way through properly and are still on coding led lights, but there are led displays, motors, heat and distance sensors etc etc. and a 164 page manual and all the code done for you if required. However you won't learn that well copy and pasting code, so to get the most out of it, treat it a a learning project and either buy a book or like us, follow a youtube course, there are a lot out there but we are doing some bloke called paul mcwhorter who starts from scratch and builds up through each lesson with about 28 videos. I'm not saying his are the best, but it suits me and my daughter,and its free. As Paul says in his first video, if you can turn an led light on and off, you can do a sensor, a motor, so with those three you could build a basic robot or a weather station or whatever your ideas take. Once we have finished working through Pauls videos, we will then work through the pdf file of all the ones Elegoo provide that use all the products included in the box. So to conclude, the elegoo box has in it almost everything you could want to get you going, it should provide hundreds of hours of fun and frustration and learning to get your projects working for under £30.00. Huge amounts of support are available free online and its relatively simple to get started with some basic computer knowledge and basic practical skills. highly recommended.

I really like this product, I've had it for a while now and I would recommend it for anyone getting started with electronics. If you want to get started with electronics it can be a little harder if you don't have the right tools. Even if you have a soldering iron and a bunch of old electronics that you can play around with, it might not be the best idea to start trying to solder things straight away. Even if you learn a bit of basic knowledge about electronics and know what you need to get started it can be annoying to order components off ebay and have to wait two months just to get started. That's where this kit comes in, not only did it arrive fast because it's amazon but it has all the components needed to get you started. It comes with wires that can be used to connect from the arduino to a breadboard and make it simple to make connections without soldering and risking an accident. Most components also have terminal attached to them so you can attach the wires to them with ease. The main focus point of this kit is the Arduino. Arduino's software is open source and they let any company make their own versions of the arudino for educational purposes. Elegoo uses their own arduino uno here which is much cheaper than the original arduino uno but is still a great product, lowering the price for entry to the arduino world. The arduino is a great product for begineers and elegoo uses your money efficiently to give you rhe most bang for your buck. The kit comes with lots of components ranging from easy to complicated, I would recommend starting with LED's and motors and working your way up to the stepper motor. My experience with the kit has been great and the tutorials provided also help you get started easily, if you would like to learn a bit more about electronics I would also recommend watching some videos from GreatScott on youtube.

Everything that was included in the set works. You also get a little starter tutorial. Very good product definitely recommend!

Still building things a year down the line, all the parts still there, because of this kit I fixed my playstation crontollers stick drift and cleaned up the circuitboard and did some resoldering. Just an amazing thing to behold playing games with a controller I fixed thaks to this kit. 20/10
