Junky stuff. The product was thin as water with lumps. Could hardly get any out through the nozzle. No lather.

I actually use this in a professional setting, and wanted to try it on myself. The only thing I dislike is the small beads very quickly clog the tip, but other than that it’s a good product.

I put this on the night before I wash my hair and leave it on all night. I’m able to get a better clean doing this as it takes the top layer of dry scalp off.

I’ve used The INKEY List Glycolic Acid Scalp Exfoliator multiple times in the past and really liked it. It worked well for my scalp and I never had issues with the formula in earlier bottles. However, the last two bottles I’ve purchased (at different times and from different retailers) arrived with visible crystallization inside the bottle when brand new. The product appears partially solidified before first use, which has clogged the nozzle and made it difficult for the liquid portion to dispense evenly. I do shake the bottle as instructed, so this doesn’t appear to be a user or storage issue on my end. I understand that some ingredients can crystallize if exposed to air, but I wouldn’t expect that in a freshly opened, sealed product. With this most recent bottle, I started applying it but stopped immediately once I noticed the crystallized texture. I finished washing my hair as usual, but the next morning I still found small salt-like crystals in my hair. That was frustrating and unexpected. When the formula is smooth, it works great! I just wish the consistency was more reliable from bottle to bottle.

I've recently started investing in weekly scalp care to help look after my hair, prevent blocked follicles and to hopefully encourage growth, while making sure my scalp is healthy. I find this product very easy to use. Application is super easy and convenient. The level of glycolic acid doesn't make my scalp at all sensitive during or post treatment. I've noticed a significant reduction on itching and flaking. I also find this to be great for clarifying the scalp and removing build up without doing the scalp or hair. I'll definitely keep using this a couple of times a month for a reset though you could use this weekly if needed. I feel this would be good for most scalp types to try. Often greasy scalps are actually dry scalps trying to compensate. This has drastically cut down on the grease and sebum production without any drying effect. If you're investing in your hair then it makes sense to add in scalp care too. This is a fast and easy way to do so and, I find, the results are fantastic.
