Is this bulky and will it protect the screen from scratches ?

It’s is big enough to prevent scratches. I never had a scratch when wearing this. It can sometimes be too bulky and become annoying.

Does this watch have a screen protector?

No it doesn’t, I chose this one without a screen, because debris & water would collect under the screen, the outer edge helps to protect the face of the watch. A very good buy.
