Food heaven rediscovered
I used to buy this product many years ago whilst serving on the continent. It was in the form of a kit then, with rice, ketjap manis and sambal olek. On coming home I managed to find it on the shelves at Tesco for a short while then as Tesco do they discontinued it. I had resorted to making my own paste by guestimating quantities from the ingredients on an old Conimex packet. It was reasonably successful but never the real thing. NOW thanks to Amazon, after several years in the wilderness, I can get the Conimex taste again and introduce my family to what I consider the best nasi goreng mix in existence. Try it with chicken, prawns and pork witha runny fried egg on top.....Food heaven...and my kids agree. Please, please Amazon do not discontinue this item.

Until discovering this on Amazon, I used to pack my suitcase anytime I visited the Netherlands with this; I am delighted to be able to have this delivered right to my door and at a price that isn't excessive.

Tasteless
This Conimex packet of Nasi Goreng spices looks different from the advertised package and the contents are tasteless.
