Urnex Cafiza Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets, Pack of 100

Great for use with Sage Barista Pro machine. Does the job as intended with very little mess and faff. Also good value for money.I was asked to rate the flavour, so I have only given this 1 star as I didn't know you could eat them. As such, I will be able to give a more accurate review once I've had a nibble........

Brilliant product and great value

I use these for Back Flushing my Sage Espresso machine and find them to be most satisfactory.

I use a powdered cleaner (Puly) most of the time for backflushing and cleaning the portafilter/steam wand but when I just want to put the machine on the auto clean cycle, I pop one of these in the blind filter and start the cycle. There is no residue and it seems to be cleaning my machine nicely. Convenient and good value.

I have a Sage barista touch and the machine came with two descaling tablets. These are equally as good if not identical to the tablets that came with the machine but far better value, as you get 100 tablets.I’ve used them as part of the descaling and deep clean programs, both with great results. I’ve also left one in the water tank and hot water to dissolve, as we have very hard water and this often gets rows of hard water lines. This cleared them up nicely and made it easier to wipe clean.Really impressed. My coffee machine is sparkly clean again and these are so cheap, I’ll likely clean my machine more often now. Not noticed any effect to flavour but I do rinse the machine through well before next use. Will buy again once these run out.

Great for cleaning the group head on my Oracle Touch at a fraction of the price of the Sage ones.

These are fantastic value for money and work well with my device. I use them aproximately between once and twice a week, as I occassionally use the pressurised baskets, which can cause increased backflow of coffee through the three way valve, and drain, depositing coffee grinds and oils along the wayNote... these can only be used in machines that have a a three way solenoid valve or similar, and a back pressure rainage pipe/channel, and will not work on (usually lower end) machines that have neither. Nor is it a descaler, so you will still need to perform descaling seperately. Check your machines manual to see if you require and can use these.I have checked the group head, removing the shower screen, and its still clean like brand new, until my old basic machine, which would had a lot of build up on the shower head after just 2 weeks (it didnt have a three way valve or back drain, so was not able to use cleaning tables with that machine)
