Excellent ironing board
This extra large ironing board has made a world of difference to me because: it is very wide and it can be raised to above elbow level. These two elements help with my domestic ironing as well as my professional pressing. It is sturdy and the steam iron holder works well, holding a large steam generator iron. Love it. Would recommend to anyone who needs to iron clothes, linens and curtains. It is fantastic.

A large sturdy ironing board without an attached iron stand
I bought this to replace a smaller lightweight ironing board ( not this brand) which fell to bits after 2 years. This one looks likely to last considerably longer. It's a size D which is huge and it is very sturdy. Ironing king size sheets and duvet covers is much easier. I was very impressed how much time I saved doing a pile of ironing. The ironing board stays put, and doesn't skid or wobble on my tiled floor. The only draw back is the weight. It really isn't suitable for anyone frail or with painful joints for eg.

Cool Surfboard. Or Ironing Board According to The Boss
Okay, I will freely confess that I am no real expert on this subject but, before I face the banshee howls of upset wifes and girlfriends I can and do iron when needed. Certainly as a cadet I had to learn or else.Anyway, my better 3/4 wanted a new ironing board because her old one of some vintage had a cover that was not ideal, being a replacement for the longstanding one of many years.Coupled with getting a new Woman Tool - an iron - She Who Must Be Obeyed wanted a new ironing board as well.Speaking of Woman Tools this is something of a constant source of confusion to us men. We love our tools. Really. Look in a blokes place of sanctury and check out the serried ranks of shiny spanners and neatly arranged socket sets. And yet, when the subject of the equivalent Lady Tools comes up we get nothing but death threats and indications our marital rights might dry up pretty quickly. At Christmas when a bloke gets a brand spankers new Makita cordless drill, chances are he will quickly have some sort of mini fit of joy. However, when the missus unwraps a new food mixer or iron there's a better than even chance the significant other in her life may well find it hard to sit down given what has been jammed somewhere uncomfortable. We men just don't get it.Anyway, my missus wanted a new board and it had to be a decent one or else. And as she we have the same Amazon account using my credit card, this bad boy duly turned up.And, as far as surf boards go it's pretty useless. However, as an ironing board, it's very good.Firstly, it's well made. I know that because my better 3/4 decided that along with the arrival of new equipment for ironing I would be tasked with sorting out the airing cupboard with new brackets and holders in order to give everything a place. And part of that was a hanging bracket for this board which had to be pretty substantial because this is quite a solid thing and certainly no lightweight. Good for the wife's arms I reckon. It's easy to set up with any position in it's range which covers any size lady I've seen. Even in the Far East where I worked...ahem...It has a large surface so any garment is easily dealt with according to my wife and she did tell me she liked the fact that there was no specific iron rest which takes up valuable real estate. The material top won't burn so you can put your iron down anywhere. There is a safety knob which has to be operated in order to collapse this which, is in place to prevent the small people in your life from becoming the small ex-people in your life. It works well and is a thoughtful addition. It's stable. Very stable in fact so much easier to get a move on when you need that dress for the evening out on the razz that's just been washed. The top is perforated so as to allow steam to pass through it making ironing just that bit easier and rendering this as I said before useles as a surf board.Overall, a superior quality board that will make any lady happy to get this on her anniversary or birthday. For any bloke our there reading this, I've just sorted your next pressy problem out.....

So far so good
Really easy to open and close,Fits just about my PerfectCare steam iron, that shelf part is probably the weakest- iron really heavy with water, but still holds well,Great big size of board, well balanced, nice finish,The best I had so far,Hoping for another few years more of it…Everything as described, great for taller person, but suits short as well as easy to reduce

All metal quality board
Love the size and shape. Very sturdy and easy to adjust for 6’ use to sitting use height. Going to be great for ironing out upholstery pieces. No iron rest rack to get in the way👍👍

Feet Not As Advertized
This looks like a really great board. Very stable and a large enough ironing bed. The iron stand at the end is a nice feature. Really great height when fully up. Goes up and down easily. The only bad point is that the ad copy mentions non-slip, non-scratch feet. While they may be non-slip, these feet are hard plastic and so will probably scratch a wood floor. Other than that, it is great. We also had an issue with the cover, but Brabantia shipped out a replacement very quickly.

Another ironing board
It seems steady enough but still has movement in joints. Joints cannot be made tighter by the user. The legs all rest on flat floor evenly. The ironing surface is flat from side to side and end to end. I'm not positive about the iron rest. A minor redesign and the iron rest could be made removable and sold as an option. I may remove the rest as I like working of the square end of ironing boards. Height adjustment is easy and greater range than my prior piece of junk. I'm not positive about the blunt pointed end. So far the biggest complaint is the cover arrived cut on one edge. Guess will put a 'bandage' on the cut and keep the board as a replacement might arrive with greater damage. The box had no damage so perhaps the cover was damaged at the factory?

Very good but...
The iron holder is right up on the short square edge, not lower and an inch apart as it should be in order to make use of that edge more effectively. Otherwise fairly study and wide.

Great ironing board, good warranty service
This ironing board is much better than cheapie we had before - more stable, can be set up higher, a bit wider, has better cover that does not come off, and overall just works well. Sadly, after two years of service one of the wimpy welds on it gave up making it unusable, but that gave me an opportunity to check on that 10 years warranty... and it turned out to be real! Great customer service, got new replacement board in less than a week. There are some reviews here with concerns about warranty service in US, but that seems to not be a problem.
