a good read
A good storyline, Jake and Natalie’s story. Definitely a grumpy sunshine romance. A meddling grandmother who wants all her grandsons to be happy and married with grandchildren. Natalie is out of a job due to her ex and ends up doing a birthday party for Jake’s grandmother as an event planner. She meets his 4 brothers and eventually his 3 half brothers who he want acknowledge due to his dad committing bigamy. There is drama with the ex boyfriend but overall a very lovely romantic story and I gather there is more to come in the future with his 7 brothers.

A nice enjoyable read.First book I have read from this author and look forward to reading more.Loved reading Jakes story. Good read and recommended

Grumpy match made in heaven
Jake and Natalie are the newest addition to the Layla lineup of heroes and heroines. It is definitely a fun and entertaining read. I loved seeing how Natalie and Jake are two people who have zero intentions of being in a relationship anytime soon – but yet they end up being the perfect match for each other. It was definitely amusing to read, that is for sure.Jake is a grumpy man but he’s also so protective and I loved every second of it. It was fun, and entertaining to read. There is something that draws these two together without them even realising it. I love seeing these two fall head over heels for each other. Their passion, their love and their chemistry just jumps out.Definitely a read that you will not be able to put down – nor will you want to put it down!

Meeting the new Whitley family
A great new series by Layla Hagen.Jake Whitley is the grumpy,workaholic CEO of his own company.He is adored by his grandparents who have been there for him since he found out his dad had two families and he has half brothers he doesn’t see.His grandmother is the loveable character who meddles. She thinks of herself as a matchmaker. She hires Natalie to plan her 90 th birthday party in an attempt to get the two together.Then Jakes elderly grandfather gets sick and Jake returns to Boston to help out in the family business.Jake gets to build a relationship with the no nonsense Natalie and sparks fly.They are great together and her dealings with his grumpiness made me laugh.There is a difficult ex and great family moments.Jake gets to reconnect with his family and Natalie gets a new one let’s hope the other characters get their own stories.

Excellent story that you just can’t put down
Loved this story of Nathalie and Jake and whether Jake would stay at Boston and help save the family advertising business.The chemistry between the 2 of them was electric!Another easy read from Layla Hagen that I couldn’t stop reading.Why is it you feel you are actually in the story.Can’t delve into too much as I’ll give the story away.

Love this Family more and more!!!!
What a start to a new series!!! Hello Whitley's, love this book so much I couldn’t put it down and read in one sitting. Loved Jake and Natalie and the way they supported each other and the push Natalie gave Jake to strengthen his ability to move forward to see things from a different perspective and learn to open his heart. Loved the little nod to the Maxwell's, always love a tie in when reading Layla's books. Can’t wait to see what Jeannie has in store for the other brothers!!
