MasterClass Stainless Steel Oil Mister Spray Bottle, 150 ml (5.5 fl oz), Silver/White

After initially being confused as to why my air fryer and pans were coming out of the dishwasher with some gummy type residue still on them, I tracked the problem down to the "low calorie cooking spray" we had been using. I hadn't given them much of a thought when I'd bought them but after actually reading the ingredient list they were dumped straight in the bin and I vowed to go back to proper oil. Enter this little gadget, admittedly it is a little fiddly initially to get going but you can fill it with whatever oil you like and you end up using far less than if you'd been spooning or free pouring it in. It's also extremely robust and being refillable means that I don't have to keep buying the disposable oil sprayers from the supermarket for an inflated price over buying a normal bottle of oil. For best results it's advised not to fill it more than half to two thirds full to allow a proper spray. Even with it only being half full it lasts ages as you really are using less oil than with conventional methods I'm actually tempted to get another couple for salad dressings and the like because I'm so impressed with it

The oil spray works well. It does not quite produce a fine spray, although it could be the Groundnut Oil that I am using, but it does give an even coating on the pan. There is a slight problem when refilling the spray. The washer, that goes between the body and the spray head is not quite tough enough. When screwing down the cap, the washer can deform resulting in the loss of pressure. Not a major problem, as all it requires is to hold the spray head firmly against the body, with the washer between, together in one hand while using the other to screw down the cap.

The product arrived all shiny and brilliant! Standard instructions, all clear and I followed them exactly. Few days, the product works fine. So far so good. Last week (around 45 days after the purchase), I come back from work and go to the kitchen for a glass of water to find the whole kitchen top (wooden) greasy... follow the trail, and the spray seems to have relieved itself - the complete oil has come out for no rhyme and reason. I thought that I must have overfilled it the day before (it should not be filled more than half way). Anyway, cleaned the mess, washed the sprayer and refilled it a little less than halfway last night. Used it in the morning, and I come back from work tonight to find that the whole episode has been repeated. Very disappointed in this product. Maybe this was a lemon and all the other sprays are just fine, but this left a bitter taste in the mouth. First time I have ever been disappointed with an Amazon product.

I have never tried an oil sprayer before so I can't really compare it to any other product, but I can all I can say that it does what it promises... it sprays a fine mist of oil. After one year of use I have found out that there can be occasional leaks of oil, but I guess it's something to be expected. I'm using it to coat my baking pan with just the right amount of oil, which is a money saving and healthy practise at the same time. Try to spray some good quality olive oil on a toasted slice of bread with a pinch of salt and oregano and maybe a sprinkle of lemon juice and you will realize why this mist sprayer can be one of the best investments you can make :-)

Good quality but just as unreliable for spraying as my previous much cheaper one. Half the time it just blobs. Works OK sometimes and just blobs a bit on others.When it breaks I won't bother with another of this style from any manufaturer, theyall have the same problem

Jury's still out on this. I struggled to get it to work initially and ended up with oil everywhere. Thank you to the Q & A for their suggestions. Have to pump it about 30-40 times (not the 5 on the instructions). Keep-fit oil spray? On the plus side, it's very well made and I guess this is reflected in the price but I feel that I could have bought a simple spray bottle for alot less and it would do just as good a job. I would have given 3 stars but for the price.

I have tried various cooking oil sprays but this one actually works without clogging up. Just remember to read the instructions and only half fill it. If the spray stays upright it always delivers a fine mist but if it falls over on its side give it a few seconds before spraying or you will get a jet of oil instead. I have recently switched from deep frying to using an air-wave cooker with rotisserie and chip drum and the Master Class sprayer is invaluable. A quick spritz of oil and oven chips come out as good as deep fried chips but without the health problems. Works with thicker oils like olive oil or thinner rice bran oil.

1st spray bottle arrived used and REALLY dirty (see photos) I've no idea how this managed to get out of the warehouse without a health and safety warning! Sent it back to Amazon who very quickly replaced it with a new unused item. Pleased with this product, the spray tends to get weaker with use but works fine once it has been pumped again. Much better and healthier than commercial pressurised sprays.

Although I have to pump this several times before each use, I like the fact that I can put whatever oil I want in this. It has held up for over a year and still works well.

Nebulizza veramente l'olio, grazie al sistema a pressione, infatti si carica spingendo il coperchio un paio di volte. Va riempito sino a metà, non oltre, pur essendo abbastanza piccolo però si usa a lungo perché nebulizza benissimo e quindi basta spruzzare 1 o 2 volte per condire. Non sgocciola e non perde. Non costa poco, ma sembra di buona qualità e duraturo.

Lo primero es decir que mi presentimiento hacia los pulverizadores de presión con botella de cristal estaba en lo correcto, ya que el cristal apenas dilata por la presión y quita un extra de funcionamiento que el metal o plástico te da. Traducido al castellano: Consigue más presión sostenida y mantiene más tiempo el espray. Dicho esto, el pulverizador funciona perfectamente, quizás pulveriza un poco demasiado fino (parece un desodorante), pero es que tampoco se puede pedir peras al olmo porque bastante que pulveriza. Habrá que ver la durabilidad del mecanismo, que es lo más importante. Decir que la prueba la hice con aceite de oliva virgen extra de "Coosur" (hojiblanca) y después probé con "Maestros de Hojiblanca", ambos bastante densos pero los hay aún más. El defecto lo veo en que no tiene indicador de llenado, lo cual es imprescindible en un aparato de estos. Es totalmente de acero, sin ninguna parte transparente, por lo tanto hay que tener ojo para llenarlo. Y quien compre un aparato de estos ha de ser consciente que la duración del espray es bastante corta. Algo bastante IMPORTANTE cuando se usan estos pulverizadores Y QUE PARECE MUCHOS DESCONOCEN es que, al rellenarlo, no puedes superar nunca la altura del tubo ancho que se tiene el propio pulverizador por dentro, ya que faltaría espacio para la presión del aire y haría que no hiciera el efecto adecuado, entre otras cosas saliendo incluso un chorro o directamente ni funcionando. La física es sencilla: Cuanto más denso el líquido, más difícil la pulverización y cuanto más llena la botella, peor efecto de pulverización. Personalmente lo lleno un tercio de la botella.

Dit is een geweldige oliesprayer. Door het pompje kun je druk creëren en verstuift de olie heel gelijkmatig! Onze kookervaring is veel beter. Tip: draai het spraydopje los na het sprayen zodat er geen druk in het apparaat blijft. Dit is de reden dat de verstuiver bij sommigen snel kapot gaat.

Véritable pulvérisateur à huile, il faut plutôt pomper longtemps pour avoir un peu de spray, mais au moins c’est efficace. A température ambiante de l’huile d’olive passe parfaitement bien.
