Computer will only boot to BIOS and no matter what I try, will not boot to Windows. From what I can tell, either the motherboard is shot or the battery is garbage, Thank God Amazon will take it back. Returned it today.

Had a hard time getting the wifi to work, customer service wasn't any help. CSneeds to provide a tech support forum (phone#). Hard to see keyboard, but with that said, seems to be pretty solid. I'm using it for digital studio tasks.

Does anyone have a problem when starting up? Takes forever to open up have to shut down several times before it operates.

Very cheap product

The computer itself is ok but the keyboard is too light and sometimes impossible to see the letters and numbers. The backlit keyboard feature doesn’t help at all, poor design as far as the keyboard goes.

Didn't even have this for 3 months. Did not work correctly. Had to ship it back and pay for shipping.

My older laptop took forever to load programs or to connect to the internet. Lapbook is a slimer model and way faster. Setup was easy and the I am enjoying the lite keyboard.

Having purchased a Fusion 5 laptop previously (T90B+Pro) in April 2022, which has performed well for over a year, had no qualms in ordering another Fusion5 product.OverallThe Lapbook 15.6" S15 Pro appears to be an excellent laptop for a tad over £250 and compares well against my work laptop. It's a well put together machine though it is a little bit bit heavier than I expected, but that's a minor thing as is a replacement for a desktop PC and wont be carted from place to place. Was surprised that the laptop is not branded as a Fusion 5 product.Pro'sKeyboard has a nice feel to it, but as with other reviews, is not a UK standard keyboard and has a rubber cover, which does limit backlighting, but overall is not an issue for me.Metal (Aluminium) skin on both keyboard area and back of screen give this machine a sleek look.Screen is very good; bright and clear, with vey small bezel (only around 5mm) appears to be larger than it really is. Performs well with video.Ports are as described, 2 USB 3 ports (one each side) , 1 UBS-C port, Micro HDMI port, headphone socket and SD card slot. Power port is small and same as on previous purchase (which was a minor concern), but have not had issues with this. Cord on PSU is not particularly long, so an extension cable is likely to be needed, but this is a minor thing.Finger print sensor is a good addition for security and appears to work well.Removable camera is OK (not brilliant/not terrible), simply slips into place using magnets on the top of the screen when using and hides away in it's own slot in the base of the machine when not in use.Plenty of storage on the 512 GB SSD drive and the 12 GB of DDR4 RAM allows the machine to boot to login screen in just a few seconds. From pressing power button to actually being able to use the laptop take under 15 seconds.Windows 11 is as expected, many new features to work with.Con'sOnly things I have found that are not brilliant on the laptop are the touchpad and speakers.Touchpad is very sensitive even on medium sensitivity and cursor can jump about the screen a bit. I don't like touchpads at the best of times and always use a wireless mouse in any case so this is not an issue for me. Touchpad sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings.Built in speakers are what they are, it's a laptop not a hi-fi system, so I didn't expects high fidelity sound. Sounds tend to be a bit tinny and not particularly loud but have heard worse from laptops and tablets, this could easily be rectified easily with use of a Bluetooth speaker. Sounds are really quite good through headphones.The trial version of Office 365 is installed, but I needed to uninstall so that I could install my full version of Office 2019 Professional. This was a bit confusing as it looked like it was installing office 365 again, but after install is listed as Office 2019.Battery life appears to be OK, used for about 3 hours and battery indicates that is has about 50% charge left.

Well, so far so good. I've been using this laptop for about a week now.Good points - it has a better build quality than expected. It starts really quickly. The edges of the screen are really thin, so they manage to fit a full size screen in a sightly smaller laptop. The picture quality is great. I love the fact that the camera is detachable, so no more worries of being spied on. It's light weight and comes with a lovely rubber mat, over the keyboard, so no more biscuit crumbs falling into where they shouldn't.Bad points - The charger cord is a little short, so you require a socket pretty close by and the charger port looks a little thin / flimsy; I don't know how it will hold up against a knock.The sound is OK, but not very loud. It picks up my WIFI fine downstairs, but the signal in this laptop is not as strong as my old laptop, when I go upstairs.I have not used the camera yet, so I can't comment on that.Although I praised the rubber keyboard mat earlier, I do query why they would make it black, instead of clear! This laptop has a lovely, lighted, keyboard which is totally hidden under all the black keys of the mat.Overall, it does everything that I need it to, and at £300 it is well worth the purchase price.

I'm disappointed to be writing this review but I am honest and if it offends the sellers and helps buyers, then so be it !This device is a basic laptop which comes with Windows 11 Home and NOTHING else ....The good thing about this is that it doesn't come full of Bloatware and all that rubbish that goes with it ... the hardware nearly up to date,( 2020 - 2021 ) ish but no where near top end stuff but because its just Windows 11 Home you can get on pretty much okay .... if you know your stuff !The screen is above average but not very bright- yes i know the function + esc / f1The finger print scanner never works and the " illuminated keyboard " is not very bright even though I have used the funt-f11 key blah blah blah .... im very clued up on Windows and hardware and the following should be considered before you buy this ....It's a nightmare trying to change the product key to a diffrtent digital license like PRO and Office 365 Retail licenses ....The USB hardware bit rate is very slow and the the keyboard cover actually blows off in the wind and the final but very important thing is that this device does not come with any driver images or any product license keys so unless you know what your doing and are clued up on how to find drivers and product keys etc etc stear clear ! Oh and the Windows Update tool DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD THE DRIVERS NORE ARE THEY OFFERRD IN OPTIONAL / DELIVERY OPTIMISATION.... but that being said its quick , crisp and does what its told to do ... it takes forever to read content from the USB 3 or Micro SD reader even adter turning all background services off and terminating error reporting and creating a further 8Gb of Virtual RAM and configuring the devices so that CPU is,running at 1 - 3 % idle.... .... And just for clarification after five attempts at contacting the seller to request any hard media copies of the drivers for this device ALL attempts have been ignored/ have failed.So this is my honest opinion take it or leave it...If your confident in setting up and tweaking the hardware and software then go for it ...If you're not then run a mile ....I hope this doesn't sound like I'm condescending with this I'm just giving you a true version of my experience with this and I hope it helps ... I bought this Laptop a couple of weeks and have used it a lot.It was so easy to get up and running with no problems. The notebook itself is light and slim but feels sturdy.I was surprised at the speed and performance of it… it was extremely good and when powered on, windows launched almost instantaneously.The specification on the Amazon product page states that it has 2 USB ports, it has 3 …. BONUS… the 3rd is a USB type 'C' port which is going to be very useful. See picture.The screen is bright and clear.The sound is a little on the weak side but OK for my use and I tend too use earphones anyway. The power cable could do with being a bit longer but soon sorted with an extension cable.Overall, for the price, a good value Laptop.
