Thanks!** A: Yes it is OK on an E-Bike, although if the chains is really dirty a mechanical chain cleaner with degreaser works better. You will have to rinse off the degreaser with water, but before using wet lube on the chain use WD-40 or other water displacement products, which will help prevent water being trapped inside the links. **Q: Does this repel water? I spray the chain, use 2 cheap bathroom nail brushes squeezed around the chain, repeat that again,,rinse with soapy water, let it dry and lube the chain. Stiff brush on chain set and gears. Small screwdriver to get rid of excess grime on derailleur. My chainset & both derailleurs were thick with black oil, grime & debris. I had never cleaned this chain & had regularly applied wetlube throughout winter. I sprayed on half a can, agitated the parts with an old toothbrush & then used the second half of the can. The oil & dirt just dripped right off! Great stuff. I then sprayed it clean with the hosepipe & left it to dry. I used a dry cloth to wipe any moisture away before applying dry lube. All in all, a brilliant, time saving, effective product. My only disappointment would be that I didn't buy 2 cans.
