Yes, its expensive, but after using mine for the first time this weekend it is well worth it and proves the adage you get what you pay for. I filled 2 of the sections with soup and then put bread in the top section at 6 am and took it with me on a hike. At 12 noon ( I couldn't wait any longer) I opened the flask and STILL had to blow on the soup to cool it because was hot. I will use this for work now and take hot food in with me and not have to nuke my lunch in the microwave everyday to reheat it. I only wish we'd had one when the kids were young, it would have been ideal for baby food and water for the milk. Bag is well made and sturdy, not just cheap cotton like others I've had before.
