Review: Worked with a tiny amount but recommend buying the applicator. - This worked a treat with one application. We had a wasp going back and forth to the roof tiles above our single storey extension. We tried spraying with mint which is supposed to be a deterrent but that only worked for about 5 minutes after application. We bought this along with an applicator available separately and didn’t have to use much. It was very simple to apply with the applicator. A few poofs and that wasp never came back. The size is way more than we needed a few tea spoons would have done the trick but we not have plenty more should we have any further issues as the bottle seals very securely. Although it’s not cheap it was still considerably less than calling out an expert, and great value when you consider we’ll probably have enough here to deal with any wasp problem for the rest of our lives! We were also mindful not to allow this to drift onto plants, bird food etc. The product certainly works and is easily sprayed with precision with the right applicator so I would hesitate to recommend this to others.

The nest itself wasn't accessible but puffing in plenty of powder under the tiles towards where I thought it was, made sure any wasp returning would walk through it and carry it into the nest. Having said this, the application wasn't easy. You have to make sure the bottle is held at a downward angle. Applying the powder late in the evening (after 8pm and no wind) worked. Within 3 days no more wasps. I am allergic to wasp stings, so I had to cover up and make sure no skin was exposed. Make sure you wear a mask.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did the job but heed the advice about taping the lid down before use!

We had an infestation of wasps in our house a couple of weeks ago - they gained access via a tiny hole in some flat roofing at the from of our house over a bay window, and next thing I knew there was hundreds of them flying in and out. It was quite disconcerting as the buzzing could be heard in our living room, and crumbs was it loud - it sounded like they had an army of miniature lawn movers in there with them. Whilst I don't want to kill any living creature these guys became a right nuance and had to go after a few close encounters with us trying to get in out own front door. The most important advise I can give is... WHAT EVER YOU DO, TAPE THE LID DOWN BEFORE USE! Otherwise it all just falls to bits, leaving you vulnerable and at the mercy of confused yet angry wasps. I made this mistake the first time I went out and it could have been a lot worse considering I was stuck up a ladder at the time. Thankfully I was well protected (daughter's Halloween mask, and covered up head to toe) and managed to make a quick escape into safety. My subsequent effort with the lid taped up as per the photo was a much bigger success. You will probably need to use the powder at least twice - for me it took about 4 or 5 goes to rid us of them completely, and that was down to the fact the the nature of the opening they used meant I had no choice but to squirt it upwards rather than down into it. I suspect if I was able to get above the entrance and squirt the powder down it would have been a more effective and simpler task. After the first attempt a number of wasps flew at me, covered in the powder and looking like the angry ghosts of wasps past. The numbers decreased over the next few days with each new attempt until now they are no more. Soz wasps but it was you or me. In summary then, this did the trick and was a lot cheaper than paying the council £65 to do the job for me. I could have done without the lid drama adding extra excitement but if you know the problem it's easy to address.
