A beautician friend let slip her secret beauty hack - Footner! This is essentially a chemical peel for your feet that leaves you with baby soft feet. I wrap my feet in the bags supplied and put a pair of fluffy socks on over the top and leave for 1 hour. Don’t try walking around with your feet in the bags without any socks on top! Your feet will feel a tingle when washing the product off with warm water, and over the subsequent days the skin on your feet becomes tight. Do not moisturise, just let the product do its magic. Between days 5-7 your skin will start to peel in sheets like sunburned skin. Great for those who love to pick! Gross for those who don’t! No more expensive and ineffective pedicures required here :)

I’ve been using Footner Exfoliating Foot Masks for years, and they never disappoint. They’re brilliant at removing hard, dry skin and leave my feet feeling so much smoother. Be warned, when the peeling starts, it looks seriously gross, and it's very tempting to pull it off. But trust me: don’t rush it. Let it come off naturally, and the results are so worth it. It takes a few days to kick in, but by the end, all that rough skin is gone, and my feet feel like new. I use them regularly and wouldn’t switch to anything else. Pros: Effectively removes hard skin Easy to use Leaves feet noticeably softer Cons: The peeling stage isn’t pretty, but it works! Stick with it through the flaking phase and you’ll be glad you did. A tried-and-true part of my routine.

These Footner exfoliating socks definitely work. After about two weeks, my feet started shedding skin like a snake! It was oddly satisfying, and the end result was super soft, smooth skin. That said, they’re clearly designed for smaller feet. I’m a size 14, and it was a bit of a squeeze. I’m not convinced the coverage was as effective as it could’ve been, but they still did the job. Recommended if you want dramatic results. just be aware of the fit if you’ve got larger feet.

Hands down the best ever footmask over ever bought. If I could but the "you had me at the first half" meme it would sum up this product. First time using this i thought the smell was a little strong but the size is perfect Easy to use and followed direction and waited for a week with no change to my feet. I thought wasn't going to work like the pictures shown. Well let me tell you on day 11 me and my partner popped out to play pokemon go for an hour and at some point I felt like there was something in my shoe but I ignored it till I got home. Well colour me impressed/ mortified skin is literally coming away effortlessly, I refrained and soaked my feet and if you find peeling skin relaxing then you will be in your element 10/10

Bought for own use. Good value, pleasant to apply (excuse for an hour to sit down) effective in removing dead skin. I did get some skin irritation around the ankle, so I made sure plastic boots only came into contact with feet. Very slippery if you try to walk with boots on, so I advise to prepare a bowl of water and towel, ready at hand, for use on removal of boots.

I’ve used these 3 times. The first time I followed the instructions and had no result. I tried again but this time I left them on for 90 minutes and wore socks over them to make sure the treatment really got into the whole surface of my feet. Worked perfectly and the peeling was epic. Got rid of all the dry skin. I’ve just tried them again and I don’t know if the formula has been changed, but oh my GOD!!!! After 2 days my feet are unbearably itchy. It’s keeping me awake at night. It’s only been 4 days so the full peeling effect hasn’t started yet, but I bloody hope it starts soon or I’m starting to think foot amputation might be my best option. At least that would fix the dry skin issue, but I’d really rather keep my feet, they’re kind of useful. If you have sensitive skin, be aware that you might end up with the itching too!!

Worked well, takes around 4-5 days for anything to start peeling. Skin feels lovely and soft after the peeling has happened and hard skin is definitely less. Easy to use, just follow the instructions

Third time purchasing, will 100% be buying again. I use this once a year, just before we hit ‘sandal’ season, and it really does get my feet summer ready! It does take a good 2-3 weeks to fully peel so you need to ensure you get this done a few weeks ahead of when you want to start showing your feet in public. The first week you’ll think it’s rubbish and hasn’t worked, but bear with it! Works better if you soak your feet a couple of times each week over the following weeks. I also used a pumice stone (probably not recommended), but that really did give the peeling process a kick start!

Works like a magic

This product definitely made my 71-year-old soles peel. In each of the thinner skin areas (arches, tops of feet, tops & sides of toes, upper sides of heels), thankfully only a very thin layer peeled. (It was similar to peeling a layer of Duco Cement from my palms as a kid.) On the thicker-skinned, problematic areas (balls of feet, bottoms of heels, pads of toes, and the underneath areas where the toes join the foot) - where I needed it most - thicker layers peeled off. None of the peeling caused any discomfort. I had healing blisters on the backs of both heels when I used the product. One blister was still not completely closed and - despite the warnings - I applied the peel anyway. There was a slight burning sensation when the alcohol came into contact with the raw skin, but it was expected, short-lived, and completely bearable. Both blisters peeled very evenly and in nice, concentric circles starting with the outer edges, thanks to this product. The slippers' closing tabs (tape) did not work for me. However, since you are instructed to place a pair of your own socks over the gel-filled plastic slippers, there was no problem with the slippers leaking or sliding around. Although the directions instruct you to discard the gel-filled slippers after a single use, I sealed each slipper with a strip of masking tape and used them again in 5 weeks. They worked just as well the second time around, and I plan to try it a third time in another 5 weeks or more.... I did not really need to use the gel-filled slippers again in only 5 weeks - I just wanted to stay ahead of the ugly, age-related skin-thickening process. Before each treatment, I took a looooong, hot bath and applied the gel-filled slippers immediately. I also wore the slippers well beyond the one-hour suggested period, since my feet were in bad shape. (They thicken and crack on their own - and I can peel off layers in certain problem places.) Bathing (v. showering) during the product's peeling process - which takes about 3 days to complete itself, once it's begun - also probably aided in the dead skin removal. Layers simply rolled off nicely when I scrubbed my feet. Nevertheless, my feet were not sandal-worthy until approximately 3 days after the peeling began. There is about a 5-day period of ugliness, beginning approximately 4 -5 days after the application: first, the feet resemble brick walls (where the soon-to-be-shedding areas are starting to crack into small segments) and later, when thin hunks of skin are hanging off the feet. I will buy this product again, when I stop re-re-using the original, and I would recommend it to anyone with thickened soles. The peeling created by the gel was much more pleasant and attractive than my forced peeling (which sometimes ended in blood) of my thick, cracked soles.

Very nice. Does not irritate (maybe tiny bit on a corn on toe and a small wound). Left on for 1 h, started peeling off skin after 1 week. Very effective and soft feet now. Pitty that i did not know this product sooner
