Value for money. Great flavour

Have ordered these a few times and have gone with the 48 (3 boxes) but as we was ordering regularly decided to double the order. What a mistake that was. The 3 box order would arrive in a box with 3 boxes of 16 inside. And the coffee was great. This order arrives with the capsules in 2 plastic bags, alarm bells ringing. Tried a coffee and wow the quality was shocking. It is a poor comparison of what I had received before. The espresso was lacking the typical crema on the top from before and just lots of bubbles which rapidly disappear and leave you with a black coffee almost Americano. And the flavour has a bitter taste rather than what I have experienced before. Will now be looking for another place to purchase these. If you do order don’t order more than a single box or 3 boxes as you may be disappointed like me.

Great coffee, great price, great delivery

While these capsules create a strong, pleasant espresso, I've found that on a few occasions (possibly one per box) they seem to cause issues with my coffee machine. The capsules appear to be pressurised, with a distinct doming of the backing foil that I haven't noticed on other capsules I've bought. I suspect this, possibly combined with the the espresso setting on my machine, may be the cause of an issue where about one in ten capsules fails to work correctly and instead builds up pressure within the capsule and leaking from the edges, or even temporarily jamming the machine until the pressure drops naturally. While not a showstopper, I am on the lookout for alternative capsules to satisfy my espresso cravings to see if they perform more consistently

I bought my Dolce Gusto machine in January and have it next to my bed so that I can make myself coffee the second I wake up! The pods that you buy in supermarkets can be expensive - so this is a great option. 48 capsules for just over a tenner seems like a bargain to me. The espresso coffee in these pods is delicious, filling the room with an amazing aroma. It's just how coffee should be! My pods were delivered quickly, and well boxed. Will most definitely be buying these again when my current 48 pods run out!

This is a review of Ristretto, Amazon just lumps all the espresso together, they're vey different. One thing people have said repeatedly about Ristretto is that its not bitter, I tried this with a bit of sugar and it was too sweet for me, so I tried it without and I kind of preferred it. The flavour is full and perfect strength for me, the bitterness just wafts away ever so quickly, just a very tiny hint of bitterness without using any sugar and it just melts away, lovely! And yeah after two of these tonight, I'm ready to burn the midnight oil! The espresso version of this one (Pink Pod) is weak!!! And I'm not a strong coffee person.

Prezzo eccessivo, l’ho comprato un po’ per curiosità un po’ per sbaglio. Volevo un caffè di sola arabica. Ma 48 capsule a 29€ circa veramente troppo.
