It’s water and frost resistant and can be applied on days when the weather isn’t quite perfect. It’s tough, durable and you can drill into it once it’s dry. Repair your exterior walls Fills gaps up to 20mm deep Dry in one to two hours Available in tubs or tubes Water resistant Stands up to the elements Designed to be used in damp and moisture-prone conditions How to use Exterior Multi Purpose Smooth Finish Filler Before you start Make sure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Application Push the filler firmly into the hole or crack. Overfill it to ensure it’s slightly raised above the surface. This will make sure that the hole is definitely filled. Before it full dries, smooth it with a wet knife. Wait one to two hours for the filler to dry. If the hole you are filling is deeper than 20mm, you will need to fill it with several layers. Wait one to two hours for each layer to dry before adding another.

Review: Pretty good for exterior - I've used my bucket of filler for pointing few tile joints on my doorstep. Presentation wise , I find it a little weird to use a quite large bucket just to fill it little more than half . The plastic membrane I had to scoop it out from the filler and really I don't think is very useful until you open the tin , anyway . Quality is very good and generally I'm happy with Ronseal products . It's easy to apply , I used my own metal spatula just because I'm used to work with it and it was more practical for the job . About drying time , it really depends on the weather condition but to be on the safe side I gave it about 12 hours until I sand it down as some of the joints were feeling a bit soft when pushing against . Sanding down is easy and I could paint them with no issues . I paint mine in red and a second coat was not necessary but I choose to for peace of mind . After 2 months of stepping on it and periodic washing up, the filler is keeping good and I couldn't see any sign of cracking or deterioration.

**Q: Would be alright for gates drop lock in the ground?**
A: I used mine outside and it was no good it just cracks and comes away

**Q: want to stick corner of a broken concrete step back on?**
A: Don't think this would be up to the job, more for filling cracks, chips, you would need gripfill or gorilla glue for the join and then maybe the filler to cover up.

**Q: Would this be ok round a gas fire**
A: I used this on my brick wall and it worked like a charm, But i am really not sure regarding gas + fire. Best thing to do is contact ronseal themselves.

**Q: Can you use masonry paint on this?**
A: Yes you can. It is just like a smooth exterior Polyfilla when dried but you do need to sand it before painting.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product

Really excellent filler. Easy to apply given its constituency. I had to apply mine on to a very rough stipple and the cracks were very fine but it managed to get into them properly. I ended up using the small plastic applicator included as this was actually ideal for my surface and then applied a bit more over the top to remove any sign of the line of the crack itself and then finally used a brush to make the surface less even. It dried pretty quickly (I've used it in 30 degree direct sunlight and on a damp 14 degree day) and painted over nicely. Don't let the dark silver-grey put you off; even using a light cream paint it didn't show through but I did take the precaution, as much for smoothing out as anything, of painting over once before painting the wall twice. I think this is pretty standard for any filler. I can't say how well it will work in the long term as its only been about three months since my first use but there are no obvious signs of shrinkage or anything like that and I would have thought that it might have shown up by now.
