12V Prime Hot Rod Igniter for Green Mountain Daniel Boone Prime and Jim Bowie Prime Model, Ledge and Peak Pellet Grill Prime 12 Volt Ignitor Replacement Parts

Replaced my factory 12v Jim Bowie with this after it the original one burnt out very easy install. Went through the 1,2,3 start up without any issue looks to be of a quality product.

Installation was fairly easy. Looked up how to on Youtube and had to adjust since GMG can't make up their mind on naming, so it's hard to fine specific instructions for their Prime smokers.Installation (not counting removal of the old one) took 2 minutes. Pellets lit as they're supposed to.Will update if any issues arise with more usage, but, as for a first impression, works as expected.

Item arrived on time and in perfect working order for a great price!

All the youtube adds showed it easily coming out but there's a wire loom and a 90 degree corner that make it nearly impossible to remove and replace without taking off the hopper (which if full, makes a mess).Still easy to do, just more steps and more wires to unplug than the other models.

I bought my boyfriend a GMG Trek for his birthday in February 2022. By September, the original igniter had failed. I found this one and ordered it. GMG does NOT make replacing the igniter easy, but there are YT videos out there for guidance. He was able to replace the igniter and has been using his smoker 2-3 times a week since.

Fast delivery, direct replacement with a better one than the original. Couldn't get it any better than this one. Super quality, should last years.
