I've heard new versions are available. What are the differences in versions?Are all new purchases the newest versions or do consumers need to specify?

There have been three distinct versions of the Spikeball set. Version one is no longer in production, and features sliding clips on the rim, and a smaller net that attaches to the hooks on the inner edge of the rim. Versions two and three are very similar, the primary difference being the leg structure. In version three, some improvements were made to allow the legs to bend and fold with greater ease and less likelihood of breaking. The vast majority of current purchases are being fulfilled with version three sets, as inventory of version two sets is nearly and will soon be exhausted.

Saw this on sharktank! why would i choose this over "slammo" came up also when i googled this?

Yes- we are so proud of the Shark Tank segment! Thanks for checking us out. Slammo is a great set- but we have pride in our original standard Spikeball set. Spikeball has swinging legs so it can be made level on ANY surface, which is important while playing. The balls that come with Spikeball are much thicker and have larger ridges which prove to be much more durable. We have numerous customers who purchase the slammo and then return the set in order to buy the Spikeball.  Spikeball is by far the preferred set:) Can we answer any other questions for you? Question 3

Como set comes with three balls???? The description  in Amazon does not say combo set but rather says 1 ball but the pictures shw 3 balls. Help?
