Good value for moneyMy daughter has recently got in to lego, she's 7.The set is great, she's more creative rather than enjoying following instructions she uses her imagination and has made some great stuff! so this set was ideal.It does come with two booklets of ideas.The box is great storage.No minifigs unfortunately although it's not a "Set" persay so understandable really.Still the tough durability from what I remember as a child.

Fantastic as a starter set or as addition to other sets. Plenty variety of bricks. My granddaughter (aged 9) really enjoying creating buildings and various models to use in her stop motion filmsLego can always be relied upon to deliver quality products

This is just the perfect starter set for anyone who plays with Lego! There's a little bit of everything inside the pack so your imagination can ruin wild worth you're building projects!It's great value for money as there are a lot of pieces inside and we've transferred ours into a small storage box for ease of use which works well. For years I've bought Lego sets that build specific things, but with the price of Lego going up and up I've decided to change things up a bit. Yes, building specific kits is cool but I've often thought you're paying more for the design than the actual Lego elements. This large plastic Lego box comes with 790 pieces and is enough to get anyone started on their own creative Lego journey. The only thing you're limited by is your imagination. There is a large selection of pieces inside that range from picket fences, flowers, roof tiles, windows, doors and wheels and although there are a lot of small pieces, they are vital for adding a little detail to different creations. I've not had my set long but I've already managed to build a house and little garden surrounding it. If you're looking for a set that will allow you to build large items all in one colour than this isn't the set for you, but if you're willing to free style it a bit then it's excellent.What's inside?* A selection of Lego in numerous bags separated by colour* A bag of greens* A bag of grey / white* A bag of tan / brown* A bag of pink / purple* A bag of red / brown* A bag of yellow / orange* A bag of black / grey* A bag of blues* One small base board* Instruction manual to build a couple of simple things* Windows, doors, wheels and flowers are mixed amongst the bagsUpon opening the box for the first time it looks pretty full but once all the contents of the bags are emptied the box is only about a third of the way full. It's a bit disappointing but there's enough there to get a person started and there's room to add to the Lego collection over time. The box is plastic which is sturdy and saves you having to buy a separate container too. I paid £27.99 for this and thought it was worth the money - especially when you compare the price piece by piece with a predesigned set - but I wouldn't pay any more than this.Happy building!

I bought this for my 4 year old son, as I felt needed to move onto smaller Lego pieces to aid motor skills and manual dexterity. He enjoys it , but still needs some assistance in some connecting pieces together.The colour range of the pieces is good and the booklet gives some ideas of models you can make. Or you can use imagination to create your own pieces. There are enough pieces to be working with for now and can build the collection in due course.The pieces can be stored well in the big yellow box, which makes it easy to pack away.

I bought this for my son’s 5th birthday and he loved following the instructions and making the items outlined in the box. You get some pieces leftover.Expensive but worth it!

Lots of colourful Lego pieces which allow creativity. Not limited by set builds which I find can be the case with a lot of Lego sets now. Does come with an idea book too. As expected from Lego really good quality.
