Great watch, great value!
Great sports watch, highly recommend. Battery life is amazing and charges in no time. Supports lots of different activities and synchronises easily to Strava. Amazing value too!

Excellent watch and great quality. Would highly recommend
I’ve had this for a few months now and it’s excellent. The titanium case appears very well made, very strong. The functionality is brilliant and so easy to use. It’s really encouraged me to exercise more and keep on top of my step count and fitness. The Home Screen is easy to customise and make use of all the features important to me. The strap is good quality although would have preferred a black one but that’s personal choice. The battery last literally ages, at least a week or more and charges rapidly when it’s needed. Overall I’m very impressed.

Fabulous
A fantastic looking watch very lightweight being titanium. The strap is very comfy and a good fit even on my small wrist. Easy to use with so many activities listed it will suit everyone’s sports. Easy link to phone and the Suunto app. Great sleep tracking it has everything. Battery lasts really well charged only once in a week from out of box, much better than last one that required daily charging!!

Returned and going back to Garmin
I have had a Garmin Fenix 3 for 10 years and loved it. When it died a few weeks ago I tried replacing the battery, but it seemed to be another fault. So I decided I'd just get another watch. I'd seen the Suunto 9 Peak and thought it looked like a great watch. The reviews were good and I decided I'd try something different. The main selling point for me was how good this watch looks - unfortunately the rest of it didn’t live up to this. There have been several issues with this watch. 1. The battery is faulty - Rather than the advertised maximum battery life of 21 days I have been lucky if I’ve managed to make it to 24 hours before having to recharge the battery. I have been on multiple forums and instructional videos to see if it was my fault and I had a setting running that was draining the battery, but everything was off. Considering my 10 year old Garmin Fenix 3 was still running for up to 9 days between charges it seemed ridiculous I only managed less than a day with a brand new watch. So, it seems the battery is faulty and I considered sending it back and getting a like for like replacement. But, there are other design issues that are problems for me which have led me to decide to go back to Garmin and get another one of those. 1. The Charging port is flimsy. The connection between the watch isn’t substantial and on several occasions a slight movement on the desk where the Suunto was charging knocked it off the connection points meaning it stopped charging. 2. The strap is annoying with a stud fastener to tidy up the tail end. It kept popping out, so in the end I ordered a new third-party strap 3. Every time I moved my hand the back light came on. This was annoying at night time and in places like the cinema. I went through various settings, but eventually settled for switching the “raise to wake function off. This, however, meant I could not tell the time in a dark environment and there was no button for a backlight. 4. The display is very small with no apparent options to increase text size. I tired all of the stock watch faces and I had the same problem that I needed to put on my reading glasses to tell the time, or set an alarm. Again the Garmin was great in this regard with a multitude of options for customising the screen and with options to download third party apps for screens via the Garmin Connect app. 5. The Suunto app is terrible. I’d read a number of reviews saying it has recently been updated and is much better now than it used to be. Compared to Garmin Connect it just seemed lacking in so many ways. I’ve always had a bit of an issue with Garmin Connect and its functionality, but compared to the Suunto app it is gold standard. 6. The functionality of the watch is also not very intuitive. There doesn’t seem to be a logical flow to adjusting settings, scrolling through screens or recording activities or looking at stats. Maybe if I wasn’t so used to using my Fenix I would have settled into this easier, but it just seemed clunky. Overall I wasn’t impressed, so it’s back to Garmin I go.

HRM Faulty
The product is defective. Anytime I take it off for more than a few hours at a time the HRM turns off and won’t switch on again without a reset. The accuracy of the HRM is also way way off, although this may be just a fault with this particular watch. I thought it might rectify after a few resets / software updates but to no avail, and now the returns/replacement is no longer available as it’s been over a month. Very disappointing.

Caution, can damage your skin!
Purchased thi item recently, initially was very pleased with the device. Normal Suunto quality and looks, however...After 4 days wearing this, my wrist was extremely red and sore. On removing the watch there was a large patch of red and angry skin, which was peeling. Diagnosed as allergic contact dermatitis, and looking at the forums, I'm not the only one! Product was returned.
