I’d seen ads for more expensive clips like this, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for something that might not work with my fine hair. When I first tried these, I thought they wouldn’t work — my slippery hair wouldn’t stay in the large clip. Then I discovered that I should clip less hair in the large clip and more in the small clips. That worked, and I like how they look.I haven’t had them long enough to know how durable they are; they don’t feel super sturdy, but so far they’ve held up.

the clips are beautiful. they do hold but i wish it would it could be more, especially if you have thin hair

Very pretty and nice quality. My issues are I have a ton of hair. The small clips that hold the sections will out hold enough hair of mine to be worth ordering / use. For kiddos and teens with less hair it probably will work fine. My super thick curly hair won’t stay in large sections as the clips are too small. I’ve tried multiple ways and my hair is just too thick.

It looks nice but it's very hard for my senior hands to coordinate with my longer curly hair. I would have rated it lower due to the difficulty it is for me. But I realize others might not have that so I wanted to be fair.

Working in the back of the head with the small clips is difficult. My long hair keeps getting tangled in the flowers. It is a beautiful barrette.

Our granddaughter likes them a lot, but I was disappointed that there were no instructions with suggested ways to twist her hair into them - I suggested that her mother try to find the ad on Facebook where they are demonstrated.

Yes again I know if you are ordering it you should know how to use it but it would be nice if it came with step by step picture instructions
