Tie downs
We bought these to secure our greenhouse and they worked great. They were more than strong and sturdy and sure to hold our greenhouse in place despite the winds we experience around here. Totally satisfied and pleased with the quality.

Make sure your gazebo doesn't turn into a kite
Got 3 out of 4 installed sturdy. 1 of them is installed to depth but there's about an inch of "play" in it. Not sure what that's about it and could be user error but seems odd. either way the gazebo shouldn't fly into the neighbors house with this wild weather in michigan and it seems like a good value

Shelter Logic, Amazing Customer Service
I received a package that was missing 2 cable lengths so I decided to contact the seller. After exchanging emails I was offered a brand new complete replacement set at no cost.I nearly fell off the floor, I was only expecting to receive the 2 missing cable lengths but Shelter Logic wanted me to be completely satisfied, the set arrived in a couple of days. Thank you Shelter Logic.BTW, the units themselves are well made and are installed easily with the help of a heavy screwdriver or bar (thru the eyehole) for leverage. No disappointments with this product, highly recommend to anyone.

Worked great for me!
I had no issues putting these into the ground. To test the anchoring locations for rocks/roots and aid in installation, I first hammered a piece of 5/8" steel rebar which created a pilot hole. After removing the rebar, I used a crowbar for leverage to turn the anchors into some pretty hard soil. I could see how it might be a problem for some people, but I managed it and broke a decent sweat in the process! I didn't have any issues with the quality of the welds, either. I would recommend this product, but if the ground is hard you have to have some ingenuity and also be willing to work for it. Soak the ground with water well in advance of installation if you have to. I should have done that because it took me about an hour to install all four.I'm not deducting a star for the missing cable and cable clamp (only received 3 out of 4 of each) because the performance of the product was as expected. The packaging was heavily damaged and taped on one end, so it's likely it either fell out or was "borrowed" to complete another anchoring kit. I spent a few more bucks to get what I needed elsewhere rather than return the entire package for a single clamp and 12" of cable. I needed my shed inspected worse than I needed to wait a few more weeks to get what I needed.

Used this to anchor slackline after losing a tree
We lost a tree which we used as one of the anchors for our slackline so I was looking for solutions to set up my slackline with only one tree. There are some really nice surface mount options which were quite expensive. There were also some DIY options that require digging 24-36 inches into the ground and anchoring a steel pipe or concrete bed into the ground perpendicular to the slackline.I didn't want to dig and build a permanent anchor so I looked for surface mount options.Duckbill anchors are supposed to be quite strong, but are permanent and cannot be removed without digging. Gibbon sells a ground screw (single) which is DOUBLE the price of these four anchors. So I bought these, hoping that they would hold.I installed all four screws into clay soil using a short metal rod as leverage. Then I used two pieces of nylon webbing - one between each pair -- as the anchor point for the slackline on one side. The installation went fine as I waited until a day after it rained. The soil was soft, but not mushy. I encountered some rocks, but going slow and using the rod, I was able to push through it without issue. While there is no technical data available on the load, I can report that with four screws in clay, it was able to support a 300lb adult male without issue. The actual force supported is higher than 300lbs as it is also supporting the tension on the slackline itself. I did have my doubts, but I'm glad it worked out as it allows us to continue to bust out our slackline even after losing a tree.

Good, but not for everyone
These seem like a good product and I can tell once you get them in the ground they are not coming out easily or at all ( unless you want them to ). I was looking for a way to secure my outdoor trampoline down in the yard. We live in Florida so strong winds are a real concern. Unfortunately, I was not able to use these as screwing them into the ground require so much effort I almost had a heart attack. I had a long metal rod I was using as leverage to turn the screw. I kept hitting rocks or some other buried obstruction and had to keep backing it out and trying again. Even when I found a clear spot, the force needed to turn the rod once it got over a third of the way and was tremendous. Eventually I gave up. The benefit of these is that they can be unscrewed from the ground if you desire. I ended up using duckbill anchors which you hammer into the ground using a long rod. So much easier to put in however, you will never get them out of the ground again. Anyway, we had a close call on a hurricane last year and got tropical storm force winds and the trampoline didn’t budge an inch.

Worth the money
Used this to hold my shelter in place over winter. I did set them in concrete, but regardless, they held my shelter in place for the winter.2 horned steers in the pasture. This was in the middle of the pasture and never got a hole in it or blew over or anything. Definitely worth the money.
