We give this to our 14 year old dog to reduce inflammation from arthritis. It works well for him. He doesn't seem to mind it on his food. Easier than have to make messy Golden Paste myself. Great solution for older dogs or any suffering from inflammation.

I usually do not give reviews but this time I had to. I have a 17 lb Shih Tzu that I adopted from the SPCA. As he was a stray we only know approximately how old he is but we think about 11 now. This year he hurt his shoulder while playing with a neighbor dog and it took him months to partially recover, since then his other shoulder bothered him and after morning walks he had no energy to play with his doggie friends. But it only took a few days of giving him this turmeric supplement to see a change in him. Within just one week you would not believe it is the same dog. He's running and playing like he was 5 years younger. I was so afraid that he was much older than 11 and I would not have him for much longer. This seems to help some my problem is getting George to take it. No matter what I have put it in to cover up he can smell & refuses to take. End having to put in a syringe & shooting it in mouth & have a treat ready to help with taste.

Yep, that’s what I call it - Max’s “Magic Juice.” He is my 12-year old Cavachon (Cavalier + Bichon) who developed arthritis in his shoulders and hips. He began limping when getting up from lying down, and on several occasions he could barely walk. After $500+ of x-rays at the vet, the diagnosis was arthritis. I didn’t want to give him the prescription pain medication on a regular basis, so I went searching for a natural alternative. THIS IS IT!! We are on our second bottle. I'm assuming this is helping my Maltipoo with her knee problems........she hasn't limped for a few months now, and running around more. Each morning I put a 1/2 tsp in her dog food. This has been approved by her veterinarian. I also use the powdered Turmeric for myself. Could be just a placebo, but I believe it's helping and figured that this wouldn't hurt either of us.. Overall, the cost of buying this is a lot cheaper than taking her to the veterinarian again.

It seems like there has been a subtle improvement in our dogs mobility at age 12, but being that the cost is so high compared to similar powdered brands, it would take longer than a bottle lasts to know better. It goes fast so if you want to try it for a good amount of time to get results, probably buy 2 - 4 bottles unless your dog is tiny.

This product helped keep my dog’s tonsil inflammation at bay until I could save up for a Bay Area $1300 teeth cleaning. (Ridiculous huh!). If I forgot a couple of days he would go right back into his loud swallowing noises even when asleep .

Do not buy this for your dog it will eventually make them sick. Fot the first week my dog was dog much better from limp. But now she has been throwing up. So I stopped giving it to her and she got better. Hi know it’s the turmeric since as soon as I put it in her food again. She began to throw up. Just stay away from this stuff it’s not worth it.
