This product surprised me. It glides on and spreads smoothly, is silky in feel but non-oily; it’s lightweight not thick, but still moisturizes— tho for Dec/Jan/Feb I’ve had to use a heavier cream at night to keep hydration in cheeks and around mouth and around eyes; there’s hardly any smell (no Grandma smell); my skin feels great; sunscreen goes over it well after letting it absorb several minutes; I have two different foundations— both work over the top; you don’t have to use a lot, so it’s a good value; I use after two different serums that are not in the Minimalist line— works great, no flare ups; I’d like a bigger container— more than 1.7 ounces! Oh, and it’s fine/great during sweating/work outs~ it’s not a tight occlusive, so breathes better. No recommendation for dry-skin peeps EXCEPT it’s great under make-up, so maybe try it. My skin looks great in the morning at age 53! Yes, I use the Ordinary’s 7% glycolic acid twice a week at night.

I'm always on the hunt for good, affordable moisturizer. I think this will become my new holy grail product. It reminds me strongly of the omega water cream by the inkey list. But unlike the OWC, this one doesn't break me out. I have super pity skin and it's so lightweight that it doesn't annoy me throughout the day. Will be a repurchase

It’s good for oily combo skin, it actually absorbs rather than just sitting on my face because my texture. It’s affordable too so it’s something I’d consider repurchasing. However, when I broke my skin barrier from something unrelated, this face lotion made stung so bad over the flaky area and only helped a little, it was better when I just waited for my skin barrier to heal without using the product. I have sensitive skin as well so maybe that was a factor to why it stung so bad or rather a section of my skin was irritated?..

This is a fantastic moisturizer. Perfect for any skin type, but it you will not regret it !

I dont know why this says for oily skin when my skin seems to be even more oily with it on. I'll try something else.

Applying this right after I wash my face has made my skin so much smoother. I struggle with moisturizers because I have oily and dry skin, so the ultra rich creamy for my dry skin doesn't mesh well with my oily parts. And this is such a great middle for that.

I am a middle aged white woman with a relatively low key AM/PM routine. This stuff made my combination skin SO dry after 3 days it looked like paper machier, and it broke me out terribly ON TOP of it. I discontinued use and tried the Marula cream from this line which I bought in tandem, and also sucks. You can feel how cheap and useless both formulas are right when you squeeze them out of their idiotic screw top lids. I will never use this line again.

I use this under my eyes and it helps with firmness and fine lines. I cannot use it on the rest of my face as it mildly irritates my extremely sensitive rosacea prone skin. Excellent under eyes, though.

I have oily skin (especially around my T-zone) and deal with period breakouts every month. I used to use The Ordinary’s Beta Glucan gel moisturizer, which is super lightweight, but I wanted to give this one a try because the ingredient list caught my eye. Texture-wise, this isn't as weightless as The Ordinary, but it’s definitely not a heavy cream either. It’s a slightly thicker gel consistency (you can see the texture in my photo and video) that needs a few moments to sink in, but it hydrates really well without feeling greasy or clogging my pores. It didn't trigger any new breakouts at all. I kept the rest of my skincare routine the exact same and just swapped in this moisturizer, and honestly, it’s a great replacement. The formula and ingredients for this price point make it totally worth it. My only tiny complaint is the twist-off cap. A flip-top lid would be so much faster to open and close, but it’s a minor thing you get used to. Overall, if you have oily skin and want good barrier repair on a budget, this is a solid pick!

I’m really happy with the Minimalist 0.3% Ceramide Face Moisturizer. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel greasy on my oily–combination skin. My skin feels well-hydrated throughout the day, and I’ve noticed improvement in my skin barrier and overall texture. It works well under sunscreen and makeup without pilling. A great daily moisturizer — definitely repurchasing.
