An excellent book.
I was delighted with the arrangement of the various topics. The illustrations are outstandingly good. and it's as if the dinosaurs are coming out of the page to attack.

Its put away for a Christmas present, but just looking through, it looks very informative as I'm sure my nearly 9 year old Grandson will tell me

Another of a great book from Dorling Kindersley Giving good detail about our pre-history From the beginning to the end of the Dinosaurs. Then the start of the mammals and birds. There is so much information providing an insight Into a paleontologists life. Each dino who discovered it what its name means And comparing its size to man. This book is quite comprehensive for an adult and well worth the cost.

Book is nice, however was packed pretty poorly so sustained a bit of damage in transit, not to mention the courier tossing it over a 7ft fence because they didn’t want to ring at the gate

Exactly what I was looking for in an encyclopedia! Hard to find ones that are mainly for adults and aren’t mostly filled with pictures and barely any informative text. Great book and is a very loved gift Box came damaged but good thing this is a hardcover, nothing noticeable on the book itself.
