Strong enough for my coats.
Leaving this review in case you’re looking for hangers that are right for your coats. I bought this for my entry way coat closet, unsure if they’d manage coats. I have all the jackets from windbreakers to hoodies, denim, ski jackets, and long wool winter coats. These hangers are doing great! The arms are right so that jackets haven’t slipped off. One thing that could potentially be better is a slightly longer hook. But, this hasn’t been an issue, they just seem a little lower than other hangers. These look great and do just what they’re supposed to! Plus they look fabulous with my bamboo floors :)

Quality product - would recommend to others
I am very happy with this purchase. The hangers look great, are a quality product and I love that they are made from bamboo, I have been looking for something like this. The hangers are a little thinner than the wood hangers I was currently using, but they seem just as strong and I appreciate the extra space I now have in my closet. Also, the hangers were packed very well for shipment, appreciate that.

Great hangers!
I bought these because I wanted wooden hangers, but ones that were thinner than the usual ones I see at Costco. These are indeed a little thinner than the usual ones and perfect for my needs. I haven't measured them, but I'd guess be they're between 1/4-1/2 inch thick, compared to all others I have that are 3/4 inch thick. Being made of bamboo is also a plus because it tends to be sustainable and quickly renewable. They're sturdy and well built, all are consistent size and no defects.I like these way more than the ultra thin non-slip plastic hangers that you see everywhere.

Super Quality Hangers
I feel kind of funny giving raves for something as mundane as a coat hanger, but considering how many types I've had over the years, these stand out. I wasn't paying great attention when I ordered them, so I was surprised to see they are indeed, polished bamboo. The fit and finish is superb. Very smooth, and the craftsmanship is perfect. They're polished, but still have enough texture so shirts and sweaters don't slide off. Even the notches for straps is finished well. The notches are also deep enough to hang on without the need for an "L" shape to struggle with. Even the hook has a nice little knob on the end and are anodized with a gunmetal gray finish. I'm certainly going to leave a few in the guest closet to show off!Pros:- Smooth finish- Wide enough for knits- Circular ? hook shape for balance- Good valueCons:- Can't rotate hookOne other small detail is that the hook is ? shaped, not J shaped. What this does is put the center of gravity directly under the closet pole, instead of slightly off to the side. Ever have hangers tilt just a bit and then your sweater or shirt sort of slides to the side as well? This eliminates the problem. It's the little things. These are the perfect hanger for your finest silks and lightweight knits. I have a few short sleeve silk and knit shirts. These won't let them get snagged or stretch out of shape. Currently most of my hangers are those sort of velvet finished things, I'll definitely be replacing those soon!At about $2 they're not inexpensive, but priced competitively with quality hangers. I would still advise broad shouldered hangers for heavy winter coats, sports/suit coats and knit sweaters, but these will work for everything else. Clothing is an investment, and these will help extend the longevity of your wardrobe. Easy 5 stars.

Sturdy
Nice set of 12 wooden hangers. They are quite sturdy, these do not have the rod to hang trousers though.

Good Old-Fashion Coat Hanger
When I was a kid, this is all we used for coat hangers. Yes, there were some wire to be had, but almost no one used them. I don't know who thought of making plastic ones, but they need a reality check. I have multiple winter coats, that are hanging on for dear life, to pretzel bent (heavy-duty) plastic hangers (that promise to hold twice the weight of those coats). No, these are not the fancy hanger with formed shoulder pads, nor do the have the bar to host dress pants. They are quite simple and basic, but how many of us nowadays have closets full of dress suits needing the hangers with shoulder pads and pants rods?As far as the price, yes, you can get double, maybe triple the amount of wire or plastic for the same price, but will they last as long? I highly doubt they'll last 1/4th the amount of times as these wooden ones. Therefore, wire and plastic are the more expensive.

Keeps clothes ON my hanger!
I have tried many different kinds of hangers. I've noticed that when I use certain plastic, it always leaves an unsightly bump in the fabric of my tops on the shoulder area when I take it off the hanger. I like these particular hangers because they are durable yet sturdy, they're made of natural wood, they don't take up a lot of space in my closet, my clothes especially my sweaters stay on them and I'm not left with any shoulder marks that I get with using certain rounded plastic hangers. Definitely would recommend upgrading to these!Has saved my blouses and cardigans.
