My daughter is obsessed with these dolls! They’re good value for money but make sure you wash them completely as the paint colouring is very difficult to get out of clothes. Understandably, kids are super excited to see the “reveal” so just ensure they are wearing clothes which can get mucky / covered. Also bought a couple for friends kids for their birthdays and they love them too.

My 5 year old little girl had so much fun with this Barbie Chelsea doll, opening up the tub immediately you have six different surprise blind bags to open which contain the doll itself and some different accessories When you open the doll, place it in water to reveal the design underneath and your Chelsea dolls colour. We got the unicorn one which my girl was very happy with - there are 6 different ones which you can see on the leaflet Then the other surprises are hair, skirt, roller skates and so on. Once all the surprises are done and the doll is dressed and put together it’s lots of fun to play with and is compatible with Barbies (Chelsea is smaller than the normal barbie she is her younger sister) Overall very fun and cute idea

Great Barbie product from Mattel. Both myself and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the excitement of 'unboxing' this Chelsea doll. The numerous suprise bags along with the colour reveal are great fun. The Neon Tie Dye theme is fantastic, the colours are really bold and bright unlike the other series we have purchased. The tube packaging we find really useful for storing the dolls along with their accessories. A little more pricy than other series but really good quality. Would recommend.

This is a bit of a new and exciting twist on a barbie doll with the brand Mattel tapping into the colour reveal and blind bag elements of toy fun that many children seem to love these days. You get one miniature barbie doll, this in itself is a blind product as this will be one of 5 dolls which you will have no choice in plus 4 small clothing or accessory blind bags. The doll basically has a coating on it, when dipped in warm water a patterned swimsuit on the body will be revealed. The plastic tube packaging doubles up as the water chamber to dip the doll. This only happens once and once all the items revealed, that bit of excitement is over but you are at least left with the barbie doll and accessories to play with, the unique bit of intended fun is very much short-lived. Personally i find this quite underwhelming and i think the intention is to collect all the dolls, at just under £13 for this set, this would work out expensive at nearly £65 and also running the risk that you could end up with a double or duplicate accessories, the dolls are tiny as well. I would stick at just the one, two at the most but there isn’t enough about it for me to buy one again.

I ordered this Barbie Reveal 'Chelsea' Doll for my sister Katie Supplied in well branded reveal conatiner. Molly gets the most pleasure from the actual reveal than she does playing with the doll. Just add warm water to container and doll and shake until water turns blue. Chelsea doll is modern and stylish, also very bright and colourful. Nice collectable doll reasonably priced. Overall, fun reveal and nice doll. I would recommend this product.

Lovely doll with surprises. Perfect gift for the girls. My 6-year-old daughter loves it. Very colourful, colours are bright. Surprises come in separate bags so won't be able to see them straight away. Easy to use, just place the doll in the water and changes colours. I would say it's not the best quality toy but pretty good. I think lovely doll for decent price

So the colour reveal idea here is really good and my daughter found it very engaging and lots of fun. The container itself doubles up as the tub in which you submerge the doll to reveal it's random outfit. You have no idea which doll you will get, which outfit it will have and what accessories will be included. The doll itself is medium sized and is poseable in the same way most dolls are (no fully articulated joints). Whilst my daughter loved the surprise, I myself am not a fan of this 'loot box' type of toy that has become increasingly popular. Only the company wins as parents are forced to continue trying to get the doll/accessory etc. that their child really wants. And whilst this type of surprise/loot box mechanic may be OK with a £1 Kinder Egg, it's a tougher egg to swallow with this doll priced at £17.96 (at time of review). I just like to know what I'm getting if I'm spending that much. I think this product would be vastly improved if you could at the very least select the base doll and everything else was a surprise. If your child is a fan of Barbie dolls and enjoys the surprise element, they will love this.

This is great gift for any barbie and doll lover. It is great fun with a surprise, so you actually have to put dolly in the water to find out what colour dress you got. It is so much extra fun as it is as surprise than just a dolly. Good price aswell. My 3year old loved the proccess and the dolly.

Jolie poupée j en acheté souvent. Celle reçue est très jolie mais dommage que les cheveux soient à clipser sur la tête. Le chat de ma fille a jouer avec, plus de cheveux. Ça devrait être fixé sur la tête plutôt qu une queue de cheval à enfoncer sur la tête.

Die Color Reveal-Serie von Barbie ist schon was ganz Besonders. Dieses Eintauchen der Puppe ins Wasser und wie sie sich dann verändert, das hat schon was, ist aber auch sehr speziell. Das Gute und Praktische ist aber auch, dass man die Barbie samt Zubehör gleich in dem Plastik-Döschen aufbewahren kann. In der transpareten Plastik-Dose befinden sich fünf bunte Tütchen. Darauf sind jeweils entweder ein Wassertropfen und ein +-Zeichen abgedruckt, so dass man weiß, dass das ins Wasser darf. Ist der Inhalt nicht fürs Wasser geeignet, dann ist der große Wassertropfen durchgestrichen. Daneben befinden sich lauter Fragezeichen. Man weiß also nicht, was in den Tütchen ist. Hier hat man natürlich den großen Überraschungseffekt. Eine Anleitung mit Zeichnungen und Text liegt bei - da steht auch noch mal genau, wies geht und was alles möglich ist. Im großen Tütchen war hier ein süßer Junge, der quasi einen komplett blau-lila-Overall direkt am Körper hat. Er darf ins Wasser und das Blau-Lila geht dann an den Beinen wohl ab. Man kann ihn aber auch so lassen. In den anderen Tüten befinden sich: eine orange Brille, ein pinkes Eis, eine kurze bunte Hose und gelbe Rollerskates. Der kleine Barbie-Bub hat ein hübsches, fröhliches Gesicht, große, braune Augen und orange Haare (die sind aber auch aus Plastik) mit einer orange-/roten-Strähne und er ist an Armen und Beinen beweglich. Wer Surprise mag - der kann sich hier überraschen lassen. Danke!
