She’s CUTE •and• she works!
Update: I bought two more colors and notice a slight difference in sizing. I do know a great trick to keeping bonnets with non-elastic straps/ties on all night. So I’ll try to make a video to show how to do it. I’ll add instructions at the end of this review, too. I avoid bonnets with elastic trim because it pulls the edges of my hair and with some, they cause headaches. First thing’s first, I was in LOVE with how gorgeous the print is and the overall quality. The stitching is even and strong. The straps are the perfect length to cross over in the back, bring to the front and fashion a small bow. The color is a bit darker than pictures but still gorgeous. The straps are not stretchy, rather there’s about 5” of elastic at the base of the bonnet which gives just enough stretch for a perfect fit that’s not too tight nor too loose. It’s truly double-lined and reversible with high quality satin on either side. I had no issues with it sliding off while sleeping, and no bleeding on the pillow when my hair was still damp. I’ve learned to stop using oils and butters in my hair unless I’m doing a same day treatment followed by a wash. So I can’t speak on color transfer from that. But I do recommend using a shower cap for oil treatments and things of the like, and washing them out the same day. Water will always be the most superior form of moisture, so try to avoid letting products that repel water buildup on your hair. With all that said, I came here to leave a review and bought more while I was here. I’ll never use another bonnet. Oh, my hair is down to the middle of my back and had plenty of space to put my hair in it loose, or pulled up in a loose bun. 1000% recommend! INSTRUCTIONS for making your bonnet no-slip at bedtime! Items needed: Bonnet, 1 scrunchy hair tie. • With your bonnet on and the straps hanging down in the back, cross them over one another like an ‘X’ bringing each one forward over your shoulder (so the right strap is now over your left shoulder, and left over the right shoulder) • Put the two straps together at the front and slide your hair tie over them • Slide the hair tie all of the way up to the front band of your bonnet and pull each strap outwards away from your head until it feels tight and secure • Pull the straps to the back, bottom part of the bonnet and then tie them together! Again, I’ll try to get a video added as soon as possible. 🫶🏼

Great for thicker hair
I originally bought this for myself and honestly it would not stay in my hair, as my hair is very thin and not very thick. It was a user error on my part. But my mom mentioned wanting one so I gave it to her and she loves it!her hair is thinning around the top of her head and she wanted to help protect her hair at night. This has been a godsend for her! Its helping to protect her hair and leaving it silky smooth for the next day! It's super soft and easy to clean in the wash! It was worth the money and I highly recommended it!

Great bonnet, but slips off during sleep.
Overall, this is a pretty good starter bonnet. I bought it for my boyfriend who is currently trying to learn more about haircare. He has dry, curly-mixed hair, and has never worn a bonnet prior to this. Below are some pros and cons on this product! PROS: - does look very cute, similar to the picture - material is soft and colors are as show. - we saw improvement in his haircare immediately after one use, so it does protect his hair well - wide band and tie-it-yourself CONS: - it does fall off his head ocassionally, so you MUST tie it very tightly Although there is one con, I find that it's very important as the bonnet falling off comprimises the protection your hair receives. However, overall, I would recommend this bonnet if you're strating off with some basic haircare! It's pretty good for what you pay for it, plus, it's very cute!

Is it my fault or the products fault of it slipping off?
I’ve had this for several years now, and I have read some of the comments where it was easy to slip off and what I found out is that I could’ve been easily not tightening it enough to wear it will slip off. So if you have this problem, I really would suggest either watching on YouTube or TikTok how to tie these because if it’s slipping off, you’re not tying it tight enough. And the reason why I know this is because I was having the exact same problem and thought it was the products fault and not mine and it was totally my fault. And remember it can be tied in the back or in the front. One trick I do is I will lower it to where it’s right over my eyes. I make sure that it is not over my ears, but behind them. And then I will tire it as tight as I can and then lift it up. That is one way I make sure that it stays tight and does not slip off. And I’m the kind of person that if it’s too tight, I’ll end up having headaches and this does not cause me to have a headache. Another way I do it is I’ll put it writing place tie it but the whole time I make sure that there is a finger on the tie to make sure while I tie it. It stays tight. But I love that I can throw it in the wash and I don’t have to worry about it. It will be fine. Like I said I’ve had this for years. I have not once had a problem with it. It’s not coming apart or anything. It’s soft I don’t sweat, though. I do find that I do no matter what needed it when it’s winter just because it adds an extra layer of little bit of warmth but even during summer, I don’t get so hot that I sweat. My hair tends to look better when I use it if I’m not using my silk pillowcase I love this so much. I have two more arriving today one of which I am giving to my niece which is on her hair journey to start taking care of her hair.

Pointless because it slips off so no use at all. Don’t waste your money on this.
