All the rechargeable batteries you’d need
I got this rechargeable battery pack as I was low on the rechargeable batteries I already had. I recently got an Xbox One S this past Black Friday. The two controllers run off AA batteries and they deplete quickly after a couple long gaming sessions. This was an easy and inexpensive way to get enough rechargeable batteries for all my devices. In addition to using them for my Xbox controllers I also use them for my TV remotes, keyboards and mice. They come charged. The extent of which, I’m not sure. I’d be willing to bet not fully charged as they would lose some charge over time. I haven’t had them long enough to comment on how well these work over a year and if they seem to function less over time. From my experience so far, they seem to work well and have a comparable charge hold to similar capacity rechargeable batteries. Even if these weren’t to be as reliable over time and not hold their charge as well, one thing to consider is that you are getting significantly more batteries and value from this pack compared to a more expensive one. If you have a similar use as me using them for controllers and wireless peripherals, it’s unlikely that you’d notice or mind in difference in charging capacity. This seems to offer better value for my use.

Good quality at a reasonable price
These are good quality NiMH batteries. Long lasting in daily use. The latest set does seem to not hold its fill-up charge very long. If I charge up a group, and set them aside for a few weeks, my smart charger says their charge state has sagged somewhat. As my charger is automatic, it is charging until the battery output matches its input. Sag is the charger going through its recharge cycle and noting the battery is below standard. It must be somewhat real as it takes an hour or so to bring the cells back to "100%." They still hold charge near the short term sag for at least several weeks. Given that regular alkalines have a significant likelihood of leaking during the last part of their life, and LEDs just dim and do not change color, in my opinion, most any "AA" or "AAA" application that does not expend the cells in one use should not use alkaline cells. These NiMH have a very flat discharge curve, so for most applications they provide similar performance, including charge retention, and similar total power per charge, and easily recharge. Considering that they have essentially no memory effect retain useful levels of charge for long periods, and recharge for MANY cycles, and do not destroy valuable items, the choice is simple. Competition from Li-ion cells is likely coming, but may not be ready for prime time yet. It's too bad devices using the ubiquitous 3-AAA cartridge don't use holders that can be replaced by 18650 Li-cells is short-sighted

Mixed feelings.
The first generation of High Performance rechargeable Tenergy AA and AAA batteries have never ever failed on us. I first purchased them on 2017 after the terrible Hurricane Maria pass through the Caribbean. It left our island without power from several weeks to months! Tenergy was a life saver. Then I reached out to purchase more rechargeable batteries in the High Performance version but I noticed the color, mAh and apparent quality were not there anymore. The mAh we originally bought were 2800 in 2017 but by 2021 they were 2400 and 2500. They were also originally printed in a turquoise color for High Performance but the new ones were light blue. By 2021 the batteries left an apparent humid mark and the covers, top plates and protections began to peel immediately after the first uses as if they were separating in parts or broken. Even though we did receive a replacement package, the new ones did the very same thing. As of today, after several packages, we're left with the original ones which never failed us in turquoise color, and all the ones purchased and replaced by the company in light blue sky color we had to throw them securely in the trash, which was the very least thing we wanted to do when we began our journey of protecting the planet. From all the packages purchased plus replacements received - which were about 2 big packages and 2 replacement of a total of 24 batteries EACH (half AA and half AAA), for a grand total of we ONLY have left 7 AAA and 5 AA, from more or less a grand total of 96 rechargeable batteries High Performance 2020 to 2021 edition, only used for remote controls. The ones that worked and never got self peeled or inflated worked and still work very well. The first package of the turquoise color are still working completely, all the 24 batteries. Please, go back to the original manufacturing process or company of the turquoise color. They were manufacturing in the highest of levels. The ones from 2021 were a terrible batch and may represent a safety hazard and/or a potential fire at any household due the fact they got extremely hot to the touch.

These have a very good reputation amongst photographers and others who are picky about batteries. I thought they were a good price for the number and their power vs the eneloop and others I could access at the time I bought. All have taken charge well and I can only know if they are in fact high reliability and good over time after many charges. I may try to update my review in a year :D
