Upon installing them immediately noticed distortion crackling etc. Im hoping its just a bad chip and have replacements coming. Will update then

Differences between the good old Signetics and these are really small. I think, but not obvious, they are just a tad smoother in a Fosi V3 amp. It may be much more clear in a headphones amp. Cheap to try. One does have to understand, the performance of these things is approaching the distortion from just a resistor, pretty incredible.
