How tall does a child have tn be to reach the handles used to climb the step up into the jeep?

my grandson is 2 and he loves this truck. he doesn't even use the handles. He wears a size 3 so i'm not sure how tall he is but where there's a will there's a way for them to climb up and into the truck. We have showed him how to reach and use the handles but he likes doing it his own way. I would highly recommend the truck. He loves the toy binoculars too.
