At all. The original filter is in a heavy plastic frame, and that frame integral for the unit to function. Without it, no power. What they sell as a replacement is the basic filter which is inside the frame. However there’s no way to swap that out, the frame is like a heavy cage with the filter trapped inside. And turns out there’s no manufacturer info, no customer service contact, says you need to contact Amazon re any warranty etc. But Amazon had no idea what I was talking about, they said to contact the manufacturer, which apparently doesn’t exist. And,The instructions do not tell you how to operate this humidifier, nothing about setting humidity level for example. Shows the names of the buttons but not how to use them. And the buttons don’t respond properly, you need to keep pushing them until something seems to be happening. Worst of all, there is no customer service contact info, the instructions say to write to them through Amazon (?). Of course there is no option or way to do that on Amazon or the item page.Also, the room humidity where I have the unit was 36% and after a few days of constant use the humidity is only 45%.
