I've been having a difficult last few months, and I figured I needed a little positivity in my life. These daily cards felt like a good idea. I'll admit it. The first one's a little cheesy and maybe a little strong for my taste to begin the process. It would probably be better once you've gotten into the habit and are a little more willing to accept the "you're in the right place" nature of it. From there, the cards do seem to be a little more on an appropriate positivity level, though.I think that I'm going to enjoy reading these cards with my family. We've been doing them first thing in the morning. I like that they are set up to be read starting with card 1. When I've seen similar ideas, they generally seem to correspond to an exact day (such as January 15 or June 21). When it's like that, if you miss a day, you either have to skip that day or read more than one in a day. With this setup, if I miss a day, I just read it the next day, and my "Year of Positive Thinking" may end a year and three days after I started rather than exactly a year after I started, but I'll never feel pressured to have to catch-up.As others have mentioned, the box isn't really practical. It's thin cardboard, and the cards are in there pretty tight. I've found that two or three cards sometimes want to come out at once. I feel like a box like the one in Mad Gab, where the cards are in a sturdy box, but are easy to pull out would be better.It has been enjoyable to see what's on the cards each morning. Only time will tell how much these cards are able to help me think more positively.

This is a great set with a mixture of affirmations, lessons, quotes and short stories. The overall theme is always positive, which could add to your day and improve your emotions and well-being.The only thing it's missing is a nice box to hold the cards! Given the number of cards that are included, the box is only designed for packaging and not pulling and putting cards back easily. I transferred my set into a plastic box, which increased the utility greatly.If you're in need of some positivity through affirmations in your life, give this deck a try!

When I saw this, I knew I had to get it! I have Cyndie Spiegel’s “A Year of Positive Thinking Daily Aspiration” book and love it and this format seemed like the perfect way to get a daily dose of positive affirmations. However based on the description, I wasn’t sure if it was actually Cyndie’s work on the cards. But I took a chance and am happy to say that the introduction card says that it contains some of the content from her book. Which is great and probably better for me that it’s not the exact book since I have the book already and this will give me some new content as well. I pulled out a few days and love the cards and content. I took off one star for the packaging. I agree completely with the other reviewer who said the box presents challenges. It’s filmsy and thin and hard to actually pull individual cards out. If this is to be used as intended (pull a daily inspiration out each day and read it and put it back) then this box isn’t going to work. It would be worth paying a few extra dollars for a nice sturdy user friendly box that could be displayed and easily used. I don’t know how I’m going to end up working this one out. I love the cards and will figure something out, but this box won’t cut it over 365 days… With all of that said, I do recommend getting these. The daily inspirations are very helpful and a great way to start a day!

So far, they have good topics on them. Nice to think about. The box could be more conveniently designed to be able to remove and put the cards back in. But, it's just a basic box.

The individual cards are physically nice, glossy, and on reasonably nice paper.The box they come in is flimsy and unusable daily, as the cards are intended to be daily items.Mine are currently stacked on the window sill in two piles, read and to be read.The days are a mixture of lessons, quotes, and reflections.For example classic quotes:Day 36 is Breathe, Let Go, and a quote from Oprah on what I know for sure.Day 81, a quote from Goethe, On Your the One in ChargeA sample lesson:Day 2 is a lesson on the Japanese style of repairing with gold Kintsukuroi.A sample affirmationDay 111 You are powerful. You are more capable than you know.It depends on where you are in your life; these may be just what's needed.

I have a sister who has no idea how incredible she truly is. She's kind, compassionate, intelligent, creative, and giving..... she's remarkable. However the walls of fear and depression often close in around her making it hard for her to see the beauty in the world around her and her own personal value. I ordered these "A Year of Positive Thinking Affirmation Cards" so she could start each day with a positive thought. I know depression can't just be swept away with a set of inspirational cards, it's a real thing, and it can pull its victims down even when everything around them looks bright. But I'm hoping when she can't find a positive thing these cards will help. I opened the box and read some of them, they're not just fluffy cliches, they're really beautiful, deep thoughts, full of encouragement and affirmation. I believe everyone could use these, they would make a great gift. Sometimes you just need positive thoughts to strengthen and guide you on your journey.(I will say that my order arrive with the box crunched at the corners, which detracts a bit from its presentation as a gift. Perhaps a padded mailer bag is not the best choice for shipping this product.)****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I've posted will be from items I've had direct contact with. Love the cards and affirmations. Only gave it one less start because I wish the box it comes in was better designed. Would be better if it opened at the front at the start of the affirmations. I plan on using mine yearly. Not a big deal as I will just get another box to hold them in but for the price it would be nice it was already like that.

This is a great idea. I like using the cards. I noticed that some of the cards are missing from the deck. The box and cards themselves are also damaged upon arrival. I would like a partial refund.
