Great tool
Great tool overall. Very sharp blades, accurate cuts, perfect size and very distinct appearance

The best for wiring, and other uses... especially on a boat!
These are amazing shears - both for wiring, but even more so for cutting things like rope and other circular items. They are super sharp, very precise without slop, and another excellent Knipex product. You get what you pay for.

Best designed snips on the market
I'm an Electrician who now does low-voltage work. Most electricians use side cutters (dikes). Most low voltage techs use snips. I bought a pair of Fluke snips and I hated them. Most other electricians or former electricians feel the same way. These snips are on a whole 'nother level. EXTREMELY comfortable to use, and very high quality. The grip/handle is perfect. I mean perfect. Fits in your hand like a tailored glove and gives you great leverage without hurting your hand. There is a padded grippy outside surface to the handles so you can use your palm for extra leverage, but I never do that, I get plenty of leverage using the normal 3-fingered grip. The long handle and shorter blades increase your cutting power and it is noticeable. The circular cutout thing near start of the blade looks weird, but it super useful. It makes it way easier to cut cables, and way easier to strip the jackets off cables. It takes a little bit to get used to having it on the cutting surface, but its a great design. The holster thing is OK. nothing special. If you just stick it onto your jeans pocket it doesn't work that well, but mounted on a belt it works really well. The snips stay in the holder very well, there is a ball/detent surface that hold them in. When you take the snips out it pulls the holster out of your pocket, but with some practice you can do it one handed by holding the holder down with your forefinger. No big deal.Overall, I love these snips. They're better than traditionally designed snips by a long shot.

these are fantastic
I use these at work all the time and they'll do just about anything from cutting 8 strands of UTP Ethernet cable to clean cuts on Teflon tubing. They're comfortable to hold and stay sharp and don't seem to wear out. The 2 section blade makes easy snips or holds the object depending on the use

Multi-Taskers
I actually bought these for use picking vegetables and flowers in my garden. They are stout and sharp, and the notch on the blades perfectly fit most stems. I’m sure they are also good for their advertised purpose.

Very good, lasted 6 months
Best snips I’ve ever used, unfortunately I left them in a ceiling somewhere. They started to get dull after a few months of everyday use cutting copper cat6 cable and fiber. I recommend the jonard tools snips if you don’t care about the semi circle portion of the blade, but I can’t live without it

Very sharp
This was my first Knipex purchase. I’ve got mixed feelings about the. First of all, they’re EXTREMELY sharp! Much sharper than all of the common brands I’ve had through the years. Klein, Jonard, even my favorite brand, Western. I’ve got two personal preference gripes about them though. First of all, the handles are huge. About 4x as thick as any other pair. This, I don’t like as they don’t fit in my belt pouch or the outside pocket of my tool bag. My only other complaint is the curve on the inside of the blades. Not sure what the idea there is but makes it difficult to strip with them. Those two (maybe nitpicky) things aside, they are still pretty awesome. VERY sharp and obviously well made. I think if I weren’t such an old dog, they’d be the best ever. I have started buying other Knipex tools and will continue to do so.
