This blueberry extract took my lemon blueberry pound cake to another level. The flavor is intense and little goes a long way. Also, I like the fact that it did not change the color of my cake batter.

I have purchased vanilla beans from this company in the past and they were of excellent quality, so I was excited to try their blueberry extract. The extract neither smells nor tastes like blueberries, or any berries for that matter. I added a fair amount to some icing and couldn’t detect any difference in the flavor, so I kept adding more… I ended up putting in a ridiculous amount before there was a noticeable change in flavor. By now the icing was a bit runny, due to the amount of extract I had to add. It tasted awful. It was bitter, still without even a hint of blueberry flavor. There was some type of flavor it imparted (besides bitter), it just wasn’t something I could identify. Other reviewers mentioned the oddly shaped bottle. It is no different than a vitamin bottle, with a large opening — way too large to pour liquid into a measuring spoon. I had to put my measuring spoon inside the bottle, which is not a great way to keep the contents sanitary. Even if the product was to my liking, the packaging leaves a lot to be desired.

It is not exactly how i expected to taste, however I can work with it by adding some other spices to bring it to the taste I prefer. It's bad.

Ok, but not quite there

Really liked the product’s strength so you don’t have to use much and it doesn’t taste artificial.I used it in keto Apple muffins and it worked great so I didn’t have to use a lot of high carb apples to get the taste.

I like to use extracts in baking. I love the flavour in puddings and cakes. I even use in fudge. Good quality product.

This extract added a real kick to my recipes. Great find.

Will not purchase this again as the flavour did not have a true anise flavour, I had to throw it away, would not recommend the purchase of this product

Use this daily in my coffee, tastes great!
