Will the ht-a5000 ever receive a firmware upgrade to include sound mode function that the 7000 has?

I have a very large living room 22ft deep and 24ft wide with 15 foot vaulted ceiling . Would this soundbar be right for this size room?

The HT-A5000 also has 5.1.2 channels and X-Balanced speaker units that minimizes the distortion while the up-firing speakers and beam tweeters fill the room to give an ultra-immersive listening experience. Will this speakers work with samsung oled tv?

Thanks for your question, Paul. The HT-A5000 soundbar will work with any television with an available optical or HDMI port labeled eARC/ARC connection. You can connect your TV to the soundbar using one of the following connections:

• HDMI (eARC/ARC) connection
• Optical Digital Cable connection
• Bluetooth connection

If a TV is compatible with eARC, you can also output the high quality sound by connecting an AV device to the HDMI IN jack on the TV. In this case, enable the eARC function of the TV.

If you want to expand your audio system, you may also want to take a look at our optional subwoofer and rears accessories (SA-SW5, SA-SW3, SA-RS3S, and SA-RS5). Hope this helps.

Want to mount this over a screen 6in from the ceiling. Is there any method for mounting it upside down? If not, will it work that close to ceiling?

Hi ibuystuff, thanks for your inquiry. You can mount or install this soundbar horizontally on the
reinforced wall. But, it is not possible to mount this soundbar upside down. For the step-by-step installation, please refer to the operating instructions.

And make sure to have the installation done by a Sony dealer or licensed contractor and pay
special attention to safety during the installation.
